Bone... a childs entry into comicbook fandom.
I can not tell you how many people I have recommended Bone to. Every time I am in a comic book store and see a mother and a youngster looking for something to break into the comic scene. The first thing to come to mind is Bone. It's a great book for all ages, it is well written and your children will love it. With all the adult stuff out there... you really need to be careful about what your children are reading. Bone is of high quality and safe.

While the length was unexpected, I found this to be quite a unique part of the series. The city of Atheia, whose phoney Bone believes is gold, is very great in its nature, I believe much inspired by Rome. This book builds mostly the tension for the next book and if there is one thing that could have made this better, I'd say that this book could have spent more time when the protagonists ventured into the city. Heck, if there were not enough time to fit all in one book, there could have been another where a character such as Tanael, a fellow outsider of this kingdom, gave a tour through Atheia and told her of her time growing up there. Tanael could even introduce a temporary antagonist, such as a kidnapper of Pierre-Lucey's parents.

Great books. Loved by the kids at school too
My nine-year-old loves this series. He was written in a comic form and devoured these books within a few weeks. I bought the next one and then donated them to his teacher library, so that his friends could read. Bones is a creature who goes with his colleagues and lives with his cousins on adventures. He even listened out of sequence and then went back and read in order. Book reviews by Mark Lewis are great. Too often, the kids adored themselves at school.

   a boy now reads
My 10 year old boy loved reading, but he hated reading the Bone series. He read every book before returning to school and served as a great kick start to reading. He went to the bookstore with me 3 weeks ago and bought 2 books and finished both.

   Great series
The students were upset when this one went missing an incomplete set is so lame. I was glad that I was able to get a repalacement.

Pure five stars, same as ALL the books in this series.
Here nothing but great physical quality can be said, in production only exceeded by the quality of the story itself. I would recommend buying books like this as individual stories and then one big hardcover book with all volumes. Plus, the cover art is fantastic!

you feel as though you are a part of the action and have to follow them to the end as they meet more fantastic characters. Every person
Once you start reading about the Bone Cousins and their problems, you feel as though you are part of the action and have to stick with them until the end as they meet more fantastic characters. Every person, animal and animal adds to the adventure of the Bone Cousins as they try to discover a new life for themselves and discover secrets about other characters that will affect their future. The book act is vibrant with lots of details pertaining to the characters as well as the scenery around them.
