This book was hyped up too much.

I wanted to stop reading the book halfway through. I still haven't finished it, but it is hard for me to keep reading because I don't feel a connection with the characters and they are getting on my nerves. I was told that this book was very similar to Shannon's B- more Careful. The author of true to the game didn't get us involved in the lives of the people who grew up in the drug game because she didn't use their dialogue. I encourage her to keep writing, but other works need to be improved to keep the reader.

I LOVED THIS BOOK....

I was told that if I read ' true to the game', I would love S.S.'s ' the coldest winter ever'. And that she has. I sat in the house on a Saturday evening and started reading the book at 11 pm, but I didn't put it down until the next morning. I ordered 2 more books from her ' Dutch and Dutch II' and they will be page turners as well.
