TRUMP ON TRUMP: I like thinking big. I always have. To me it's very simple: if you're going to be thinking anyway, you might as well think big.
And here's how he does it: the art of the deal.
Beginning with a week in Trump's high-stakes life, Trump: The Art of the Deal gives us Trump in action. We see just how he operates day to day--how he runs his business and how he runs his life--as he chats with friends and family, clashes with enemies, efficiently buys up Atlantic City's top casinos, changes the face of the New York City skyline . . . and plans the tallest building in the world.
TRUMP ON TRUMP: I play it very loose. I don't carry a briefcase. I try not to schedule too many meetings. I leave my door open. . . . I prefer to come to work each day and just see what develops.
Even a maverick plays by rules, and here Trump formulates his own eleven guidelines for success. He isolates the common elements in his greatest deals; he shatters myths (You don't necessarily need the best location. What you need is the best deal); he names names, spells out the zeros, and fully reveals the deal-maker's art: from the abandoned property that became the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center to the seedy hotel that became the Grand Hyatt; from

my mom bought this with my christmas money during her manic state and now all i can think about is the possibility for even a 5'4" asian woman to fall into the inescapable grasp of self-serving capitalism, Mr. Dhaliwal said.

Diary
Derived From Web , Jun 17, 2021
The Harrisons purchased the book as a part of a course on investing. The diary reveals how the president-elect made billions of dollars in business deals. Though I appreciated reading what I was dealing with, Mr. Cowger said, "high dollar investments are often difficult to predict." But really, is just a diary?

Sometimes redundant, but brings an understanding of thoughts and how the POTUS's mind works. Very revealing.

If others read this book then there would be less division and hate
Derived From Web , Nov 11, 2019
I bought this book for my 13 year old who is trying to discover what makes one a success. The stories in this book not only show how one's focus leads to wisdom and opportunity, but also show how one's compassion for those in need and for those one sees as a talented member of your team not only successful, but exceptional.

doesn't seem to be any real focus or direction in this book
Derived From Web , Apr 26, 2019
I actually read this hoping to uncover some sage advice and instead ended up with a bunch of unfocused rambling with a couple of solid one liners. The book is a ghost story following him around transcribing short phone calls that Trump has had with his assistants. If you think that money is worth it, then you must be wrong. I would not have bought it if I had it to do all over again.

One trumped up story
Derived From Web , Dec 7, 2018
There is no useful business advice in this book, which is a waste of money unless you want to read about Trump bragging about himself. It has no mention of his bankruptcy.

Surpringly a very good book.
Derived From Web , Nov 23, 2018
President Trump distills his recipe for success simply by breaking his day into a step-by-step methodology, keeping plenty of time open throughout your day to see what develops, build, maintain, and develop key transformative relationships with a broad range of people, and if you put your word on a deal, KEEP YOUR WORD. Trump is the consistently SAME PERSON as President Mister Trump, as he occupies the highest office in our country. Really, a good read ''.

Bad quality good book
Derived From Web , Oct 25, 2018
It's a vintage copy, which is fine if it had been advertised as such. It was sold as good condition, but the book itself is a must for any conservative family.
