Way better than I was expecting!
Honestly, I was very skeptical for a long time about this book. Seemed like a dumb remake with a silly name and gender changes. I was blown away, however, by how wrong I was. In my opinion, this story comes off as much more authentic than the original and is now one of my favorite books of all time. If you are a male twilight fan, especially a twilight fan, you will really enjoy this book.

   Less than perfect
My book arrived on time, however, damaged my book. There were scratches, dents and a few pages were bent. When I buy a book, it is a treat and I make sure that they are not damaged - they are always in pristine condition. One of the reasons I like to purchase from a book store is so that I can hand it over and see that it is in perfect condition. Against my better judgment, I bought online because I was already ordering a few things. The next time I know better, I 'll know better. , '' .

   A different perspective
I liked the story gives you a different view, but it is more obvious that a guy is harder to treat as something fragile.

If you loved Edward & Bella, wait til you meet Beau & Edythe...
Honestly, I loved this novel as a Twilight fan. Meyer has a really compelling grasp of writing from a different POV. Was a great follow-up to Midnight Sun.

   Very entertaining!!
I almost didn 't want to read it so fast, though I went half way through the book in 2 days. The ending was a little different than the original Twilight book, kind of sad for Beau. But entertaining to see still similarities in the story between alternate characters and regular ones.

This was an amazing book! I truly enjoyed looking at this from a different perspective ''. It was written in a beautiful way. Thank you for the kind words.

   Horrible
I love Stephanie Meyers, but this book was the worst. So bad, I could not get through chapter 1 and asked for a refund. Horrible, you are making it hard. I did not think that it would be.

   Loved this alternate version.
I thought it was nice to have a novel alternate ''. I kept wondering how they would ever have a baby, but now I know that it is never in the cards for Beau and Edyth. This book seemed to give better insight into Bella's head than the original did into Beau's mind, which I loved.

   Loved this version of Twilight
I personally enjoyed Beau and Edythe's story more than Bella and Edwards, only with regards to the Twilight book. I loved the surprise ending because it just felt right for Beau and Edythe to end their story in this way.

Give it a chance if you loved Twilight
I'm not sure if I like this book. Why did you enjoy twilight? Is that because you want Edward to fall in love with you? You won't like this if that's the case. This is a book from Beau's point of view, where he falls in love with a vampire. He's weak and clumsy, and stupid at times. It was hard to get past the annoyingness of it. If you' re all about a strong rich and sexy man like Edward, this isn't for you. I think it's worth it for the fans of the vampire novels. There are a lot of changes that had to be made to accommodate the gender swap.
