Easy to sing along with....

A beautiful book. A perfect match for the you are my sunshine. Along with bc, easy to sing breaks in the song are significant to the turning of the page. Short, sweet, and catchy for one year old

My one year old son LOVES stars and loves this book. We sing it or should I read it about 3-4 x before bed! He loves to stare at the stars and loves to point intently at the pictures. He even has Hums twinkle twinkle little star at all times of the day now. It is our special book at bedtime! However, I can literally get the review out of my head that there are no black children in the book! ( my kid does nothing about it, but I can 't shake it now that someone called it out!! ) Love it, though wish they would update with more diversity so that ALL children could enjoy fully.

I wish I had taken the time to search reviews for the illustrations. I am excited because this is the perfect book for a 2 year old. It is short for the short attention span, he's familiar with the song and the front cover is shiny and eye-catching. However, none of the children pictured look like my son. They are all Caucasian children. 5 children portrayed, all Caucasian. If your child is Caucasian, you won 't even pause. I try to be very careful about selecting books that don 't include children that appear similar to MY's own child. That is not a message I'm trying to send to him.

Very cute. Durable Used as a guest wish book @ a baby shower

I ordered this as a shower gift for my baby shower with Sil. I had everyone sign the book for her to read and for her to be able to keep my nephew. Her mom wrote a touching note on one of the pages inside and then passed away suddenly, so that book is very special!

I bought this book for my son. He has loved the song and now he loves the book. It is a simple book with illustrations that children a star are looking at as portions of the song are written on each page. A brief read to a quick one, simply because the song is short. The art is fabulous, the page material is thick and strong. One of my favorite books of my son is.

The book looks nice and sparkly on the cover, so I was hoping that the stars would sparkle at least inside. Still a good book and a cute one. Bought it without seeing any pictures in the reviews, so I included pictures because it would be nice to see what you are buying first.
