   Good ARMY Stuff!
If you can read, you can learn how to fight. If you can win, you can fight! Seriously, I remember a lot of this stuff from when I was a kid, but we were never sure that it really worked. I think that if you practice this stuff enough, you can probably survive just about any attacker. Don 't be bashful when it is kill or be killed!
   Timeless Information
The content in this book is timeless and would prove useful in situations involving defense against an attacker. The pictures are old, but meaningful nonetheless, because they go nicely with the descriptions. I am not familiar with when this book was first published, I'd guess it was around 50 years ago, but its evident that knowledge in modern-life scenarios involving passage through unsafe environments is still important.
   Good Read
This book is intended to add to the skill that I already have. Today's people have grown further away from Love, Decency and Friendship. Everybody out for gain, competition and inordinate self-interest and tends to be a disease. I love myself and those who love me. My fate will be decided for my enemies by God and not me. Only the Lord knows what is in a woman and man's heart. Peace be with you always.
Great book. The basics for serious self defense.
My father taught combat skills hand to hand in Korea and before he left for the Korean War. He taught me what amounts to a scientific or engineered response to an instinctual movements of an aggressor. This book is all one needs to kill an attacker and learn from this book how to practice these moves and keep this knowledge, one would be very hard pressed to defeat an attacker. I read some wannabes reviews where they downplay this books'fighting techniques, but keep in mind that hundreds of Chinese and North Koreans were killed by ordinary 17 and 18 year old soldiers when they drafted them to fight the Korean War.
   Must have for self defense.
Good info to have : Can be a bit overwhelming if you try to take it all in with one full read. Break it into weeks or at least days and read it again. Again, great fun was had by all.
   Military useful!
I am in the military, so I know most of it, but my brother in law, who is into hunting, guns and such, loved this book! I acquired it for him for Christmas and was a hit along with the tactical knife I've given him.
   great info
I and my dad are leaning a lot from this manual, I hope we never have to use it, but if we do so, we'll be prepared.
Hit book for reluctant reader teens
It is 100% worth it when a teen boy reads part of a book gifted at Christmas. I bought this one for a camp-lovin's nephew with black belt in martial arts, whose father is ex-military. It gives them both something to compare notes on.
   good book
It is a good book to hand combat techniques for disarming, fighting and weak points. The only thing I didn 't like is the fact that every time I looked away, I felt like the book was watching me. So I put the book on the shelf and I heard it, so I took the book and read it again until fifty Ninjas came out and attacked me, but I disarmed them all. In general, this book is a good book.
