   Great David Shannon Sequel
I have been reading this book to my elementary students for several years and absolutely love them. This book, Duck on a Tractor, was a fun read aloud too. It held the attention of the students well and they were glad to see all the characters from the 1st book back in this book. I would recommend this book to any teacher of elementary school.

   Long awaited sequel
A few weeks ago, I read Duck to my grandson on a bike. At the end of the story, he asked : Can we read Duck on a Tractor? I replied, there isn 't a book called Duck on a Tractor, but let's see Amazon to see if there are any Duck books. Imagine our delight when we learned that it would be available in a few weeks. We love the duck on a Tractor story, the characters and the illustrations, Will there be more in this series?

My grandson loves anything tractor and he will still sit for story time if it is a tractor book. He is 2, so that is a big accomplishment.

   Cute farm story!
My 2 year old loved to ride a bike on a tractor and he loves to get Duck on a tractor! He loves it! It has the same story patterns as the first book, which is good for little readers who appreciate predictability. The little guy requests Duck on a bus and Duck next on an airplane!

My son ordered the duck on a bike, so we loved this one. This was okay. He did not reach for it was much. I wish they kept all the original characters the same. Also, the same sentence would be nice if it was the last as well. It throws my son off when we get to the ending, as he remembers the order of the animals in the duck on a bike.
