Book Overview

Batman is confronted with a hidden face from the past--it's the return of the vigilante Red Hood who appears to be Batman's one-time partner Jason Todd, the same Jason Todd that died many years ago. But the Red Hood's violent ways pit him against the Dark Knight in his hunt for the very person responsible for his death: The Joker.

This volume collects Batman #635-641, #645-50 and Batman Annual #25.

Making Jason Todd Likeable is Apparently Not an Impossible Task!! :)
Second, I wasn't exactly broken up when the Joker murdered Jason Todd. Robin was an extremely unlikeable actor. I'm not a huge fan of Dr. Goin's work, but I loved this movie. Jason Todd as the Red Hood is an extremely likable character. I've loved him, Taylor said. All the qualities that made Robin an obnoxious Robin worked for him in this story. This story is truly exceptional, said Frey. I've loved watching people screw over Black Mask, because I often get so sick of him and I loved the dialogue so much! It's one of my all time favorite scenes ever. I am now happy to say one of my least favorite characters has been made into one of my favorites, and definitely one you will want to read again.
Sir Richard was a passionate advocate for the rights of women and minorities. Must read a must read by the author.
Batman: Under the Red Hood (A-W-E-S-O-M-E)
The complete Under the Hood story is now available in one book. It's great to finally enjoy it all in one book, Raymond said. I love the fact that Batman #618 is also included here making it even more complete, Byrne said. It's just that I simply love it. Get it, get it now! A good deal, a good read, Hachette said.
   Under The Red Hood
I got this book 4 days ago and I just finished it today, said Blair. The story is solid and the art is outstanding, he said. I remember reading the first time Jason came back. I wanted to read more about him and how he came back to life, Claire said.
   Great story, bad Amazon
I love the story of Jason Todd coming back to life and the weight of Batman's greatest failure literally coming back to haunt him. But as a comic book collector, this book has made it possible for me to no longer be in good health to buy my books from Amazon. Until Amazon starts using cardboard boxes instead of those thin, sealed bags, I can't be sure what my books are going to be coming in in the best condition. Great story, must read, bad Amazon packaging, Tunick said.
   Jason Todd Back
I started with reading about the character in the new 52 and was curious about the red hood origins so I bought this collection, ... [but] there is a different artist who I didn't like.
A great book for any batman fan!
And, of course, there's the Arkham Asylum version of Batman: The Red Hood. The two characters are perfect. The whole thing is a perfect story. His introduction is something that changed Batman comics forever. Note the reference to the middle game of the series, "War Games Vol. 2." However, some things might not make sense to all readers. It's great to be back home, said Dr. Julie Goin, "and I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone."
A what perfect and all time favorite comic!!!!
I have to give it to the writers by how perfect this comic book was, like it was just the best. I watched the film first and I'm so happy I did! she wrote. Like I couldn't stop reading nor the book place down by how shocking it would get at some points and it's really good I recommend to many people who wants to know more about Jason Todd and as well as how better it is than the film!!! It's just that they call it quits."
Batman's Failure Incarnate Comes Back to Haunt Him
Robin's second Robin, Jason Todd, was so hated by fans that they voted to kill him. In "Under the Red Hood," Bruce Wayne must overcome one of Batman's greatest mistakes.
   Jason Todd returns
Like so many people who left a review before me, I read this book after watching the "Under the Red Hood" movie and the "Arkham Knight" game. This is the first formal introduction of Jason Todd by Stan Lee in the pages of the Marvel Comics. I've seen the movie three times and loved the action and the story. This is a great book, highly recommended.
