Great for people who love Crosswords
My mother adores these so they were a perfect present while she recovered from surgery, but they need to get working on more versions as I ordered all of them and she is almost done!

This crossword puzzle book 2 is not as good as the #3 and the 1st one
This crossword puzzle book is not as good as the #3 and the 1st one. Some of the answers are made up words just to fill in the blanks or have no connection to the hints, Hollingworth said.

   One thick book!
Please let others know that this book is thicker than you might expect. It's great to be back home, said Dr. Chester Floyd, director of NASA's Ames Research Center in California. It's a chunk of a book, Mr. D'Antonio said.

   Just right difficulty level
I have enjoyed this book of puzzles immensely, Raymond said. This is far better than the often too easy puzzle books I have tried in the past.

   value for the money
She has a very good memory, thanks to crossword puzzle books. Since the virus has spread, it's virtually impossible to find them in local retail stores. She is also picky, doesn't like the ones that are about 8 or 10 inches long. Vol. 1 was "Hard Rock's" first issue, Vol. 2 "was a smash," and Vol. 3 "was a total snoozer."

What a good way to spend your time
I'm so happy to be able to get the three different crossword puzzles books from USA Today, Sandra Day O'Connor said. Couldn't find any crosswords anywhere & used all the ones I had. I felt so lucky to find them at Amazon. com, said Jennette Tamayo, a spokeswoman for the book. Each book has 200 puzzles, making it perfect for middle school and high school students. They are very bound nicely & good size puzzles so I can see well with my reading glasses, Hubach said. I'm so glad I bought these and hope that Amazon carries them even more when I'm ready.

More Difficult than the Super Challenge Version
I expected these puzzles to be the same or harder degree of difficulty as the Super Challenge Version. They were not. They were much more difficult, Graham said. It doesn't make sense.. They should be easier, or the same as the super challenge version, or the labels should be changed, they added. I want to return it.

ENOUGH TO KEEP YOU HAPPY FOR A LONG TIME.
200 puzzles, all solvable in four easy steps. The beauty of this book is that you can just skip the ones that are too esoteric, and go on to the fun ones, he said.

   "Just right".
This book was just the right level of difficulty for me. But I am only a moderate solver and even then really difficult clues are not enjoyable. If I fill in 1 long clue, it opens up so many more spaces.

Not at all as expected based on prior volumes
I purchased this edition because I've enjoyed the first two installments and because I like to work the daily USA Today and Times New York puzzles. The first book was difficult, but not impossible to solve, he said. Not surprisingly, the challenge was not exasperating. This book seems to have nothing in common with the USA Today. The clues are often obscure and often downright odd, or some strange pun with no frame of reference in popular culture. Sometimes the answer is an odd variation of spelling that isn't noted as such. All in all I'm about 13 through and I find it very frustrating and disappointing, particularly in comparison to volume 1 and based on what I've come to expect from the daily puzzles I get from the newspaper, he said.
