An all-new collection of more than 120 recipes that are so delicious and easy to make, you might forget they're vegan, from the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Deceptively Delicious, Double Delicious, The Can't Cook Book, and Food Swings.
Jessica Seinfeld isn't a committed vegan. Her husband and her children aren't, either. Instead of convincing you to become vegan or shaming you for eating meat, she simply wants to show you how easy it is to be a vegan, at times, by cooking flavorful, affordable, and robust plant-based meals whenever you want--whether that's every day, once a week, or just once in a while. With her reassuring and accessible style, Jessica shows you step-by-step recipes for sweet and savory breakfasts, comforting and healthy meals for lunch and dinner, delicious snacks that can be whipped together quickly, and essential sauces and dressings--all tailored to home cooks. She also demonstrates how to create a basic vegan pantry filled with the essential items to keep in stock, explains what kitchen equipment you'll want to have on hand, gives sample menus for combining recipes, and tells relatable stories from her adventures in vegan cooking with her family. Simple, affordable, and comforting, and infused with Jessica's encouraging attitude (Publishers Weekly), Vegan, at Times is the perfect gateway to a healthier and more balanced you.Vegan, At Times: 120+ Recipes For Every Day Or Every So Often is 256 pages long.
No flavor
Derived From Web , Jan 9, 2022
I was looking forward to this because she has great food on her account, but it doesn't have any flavor. The whole thing is a waste of ingredients, the desserts lack flavor depth. It is bland and uninteresting. It was really disappointing as it was plated beautifully.

Extremely Basic, returned
Derived From Web , Jan 2, 2022
I was looking forward to this cookbook, as Jessica's recipes on her IG look pretty good. These were easy to make. A pasta salad without meat or cheese is an example of a recipe. No ingenuity. When creating vegan recipes, I expect soaked cashews to be blended into cream sauces. One of the recipes was a box of pasta and tomatoes. Thank you, no.

Cover to cover beautiful!

I am not vegetarian. The book was a delight. I have read it all the way through after I received it today. There is a picture of every recipe. Because I am on a crusade to get to optimum health, shopping differently is part of the adventure, and I will have to add a few items to my pantry. There is no sacrifice for taste. The author is very kind. My book has many recipes that will be added to my rotation immediately.

You're vegan or you're not
Derived From Web , Nov 26, 2021
There is more to veganism than just a diet. According to the vegan society, veganism is a way of living which seeks to exclude all forms of exploitation of animals for food, clothing or any other purpose. The development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of animals, humans and the environment is promoted. Dispensing with all products derived wholly or partly from animals is considered a practice in diet. You can't be vegan all the time. You're either a vegan or not. At times, the book should be called plant based. Spreading misinformation about vegan practices.

I have many cookbooks. I've been returning a lot because it's the same thing. Not a book. This is the first time in a long time that I'm excited about a lot of recipes. This book is fresh and new. Great job!

Great guide to explore vegan eating!
Derived From Web , Nov 23, 2021
When I tell someone that I'm a vegan, their response is almost always I tried it, but I couldn't stick with it. Usually, that's because they jumped right in to the vegan lifestyle, cutting all animal products from their diet. That method isn't very effective. It's too abrupt of a change and feels limiting to someone who had a lot of plant and non plant options to choose from, only to have them disappear the next day. It's a great first step for anyone thinking about going vegan, or for anyone who just wants to explore the option. Someone just wants to add a few more vegan meals to their diet. These recipes will show you how to cook vegan meals. Being vegan sometimes is better for the animals and the planet than never being vegan at all. Tonight is the night to make the chile rellenos.

Some tasty Vegan recipes
Derived From Web , Nov 23, 2021
There are many vegan recipes in this cookbook. There are over 120 recipes in the digital version. Breakfast is one of the categories in which the recipes are divided. There is mealtime. Quick fixes. There is a dessert. There are essential sauces, dressings, and other things. There are Sample Menus at the end of the book, with a list of Seasonal Dinners and a link to each meal planned out for the week. I think this is a pretty good cookbook. There are a number of creative recipes that I have not seen before. I would've liked more pictures of the food and less of the author, but there are still quite a few tasty recipes here that I'm eager to try.
