My 3 year old could relate to this book because he is currently seeing the things happen, like doctor visits, my big belly and mommy sleeping while daddy helps in the house, Claire said. It's a colorful board book.

Great book for young kids
Derived From Web , Apr 22, 2022
In this book, the reader is shown the real world birth of a baby. Before I knew it, my son was absolutely fascinated by the colorful pictures and hearing the simple kid questions. Simply put, it's very simple, positive and engaging for young kids. The fact that they show an interracial couple and multiracial children only adds to the richness of this open ended book, Raymond said. Really good book, Gillian.

I absolutely love this book and the new baby book in the series. They are amazing for parents to bond over fears of biological attachment, Raymond said. Lots of nursing photos, the whole family sitting in the bed, and really makes it out like the whole family is in this together, he said. I highly recommend these books to friends and family.

Absolutely love this book and the My New Baby Book in this series. They are amazing for attachment parents! They are amazing! Lots of nursing photos, the whole family sitting in bed, and really makes it out like the whole family is in this together. I will recommend these books to many friends! Also extremely realistic. The photo of the dad and the little kiddo eating dinner while mom lays on the couch has been accurate for our household and something she can relate to.

Book makes it seem like it's okay to wake baby.
Derived From Web , Feb 8, 2021
Pages are two sentences of random things that don 't really describe, like this mine? Will it still fit me? And while you could look at the picture and see the child wearing clothing, I wish the text actually said clothes in it. I bought this book though, mostly because I bought it to try to help my toddler understand about baby coming and the last page says Wake up Baby, Want to Play? I really don 't want to encourage my toddler to wake up the baby, and didn't feel like it really explained pregnancy like I was hoping. And not the books fault, but a lot of pages involved shopping for baby or attending OB visits, but during a pandemic my toddler doesn 't get to do this stuff in preparation for baby, so it doesn't really help him understand. I feel like this book is simple for my child's age, but has the expectation that pregnancy has been explained to a preschooler like I could.

Like this sentence: "Page is two of random things that don't really describe." While you could look at the picture and see the child holding clothes, I wish the text had said "Twinkle, Mr. I returned this book partly because I bought it to try to help my toddler understand about baby coming and the last page says wake up baby, want to play? I really don't want to encourage my toddler to wake up the baby, and didn't feel like it was really pregnant like I was hoping. And not the books, but a lot of the pages involved shopping for baby or attending OB visits, which I blame on my toddler not getting to do this stuff in preparation for baby.
