   First Grade Book Review
Do you like waiting? The book is funny. Gerald's bubbles knocked Piggie down. Another reason we like it is that we like when Gerald yells. Gerald had a surprise for Piggie. We thought, Oh no! When Piggie said, I cannot wait. We go again! Waiting is not easy has a great lesson about waiting and we think it is a great book. Waiting is Not Easy is a good read. The first graders wrote it.

One of the best childrens series out
Great purchase! When my daughter was in first grade, she was introduced to this series. She received this for her birthday because she was obsessed with these books. A 7 year old was excited to receive a book as a gift. She wanted more for Christmas. The series is educational. It's a great way to get your kids interested in reading. Kids face a lot of subjects and issues on a daily basis. They are easy to relate to. My son is old enough to read them. I'm sure he will enjoy this series as much as his sister. I'm so thankful to Mo Willems for writing such an amazing series of books.

   Quality
My sister gave a book to my son because he had a hard time waiting, and he really enjoyed reading it. My kindergartener has a book exchange for Christmas and I thought it would be good.

I love these books. My son was happy to receive them. My 6 year old who reads well gives me hard time to read, but he loves to read to everyone.

Intended messaging backfired for my 3.5 yr old!
I am a huge fan of Mo Willems. This book has a Theodore Giesel Award. I bought this for my child, who has a difficult time being patient. The book was well-packaged. Gerald the elephant is complaining and doing a terrible job of being patient, and then at the end of the book he is rewarded with the thing they were waiting for. We are wasting the entire day. Since we started reading this book, my daughter has said those very words. Talk about backfiring! Maybe the intended message would work for an older group, but not a toddler preschool who takes everything literally and repeats what she hears. I wanted to save some other parents grief by writing this review.

My 2 year old LOVES it
It had good ratings so I bought it for my daughter. She likes this book. We read it many times a day. She loves saying "PIGGIE!" and has memorised the lines.

   HORRIBLE BOOK
The book has a lot of good reviews. It's 50 pages of a man and a elephant begging to be seen. That is it. Page after page of this ugly, unanimated man-looking-elephant-whining-beGGING- pig, he sees a surprise and that's it. I don't want my child reading a book about being obnoxious. That should be the title of the book. There is no color, no story line, and no moral to the story. Don't recommend.
