It is a book very easy to read and full of important details that answers many of our burning questions. I plan to read it several times to absorb all the information.
Walking With God: A Journey through the Bible
My wife and I purchased the book just a few days before Easter. It was a tad disappointing, but I was expecting more from the book. Even if you don't know the entire Bible, you are sure to gain a better understanding of different events in the book.
Fantastic.CRADLE CATHOLICS! This book is for you.
I've read this book twice and I'm in love. Anyone who wants to understand their faith, the Bible, or their meaning of life on earth should start with this book. The cover and the title of the book were unimpressive. Thanks for the tip. For Catholics, this book takes all the pieces of knowledge you know and paints them into a complete picture. It's great to finally have the Bible and my faith make sense in a way I never thought possible. If you are a cradle Catholic, you will find this book indispensable. You probably asked yourself this question many times, but didn't know it.
For the past two years, my husband and I have been using the youth version of the parable for our ninth-grade religious education classes. Watching the DVD series has greatly increased my appreciation of Scripture, he said. I stumbled upon it last fall, and I must say that it is still blowing me away! The book and the DVD program, "Tabby's Journey Through Many of the Biblical Narrative Books," are a walk through many of the narrative books of the Bible. I have never, until now, experienced the richness of Scripture. The quality of the pages is what draws people in. He also wrote, "one cannot read this book without deepening one's faith." The difference is that the authors have taken the reader into another dimension and offered himher a new way of seeing. 0 3171616 This is, as if the authors have taken the reader into another dimension and offered himher a new way of seeing. If I had to recommend book one for anyone, I would have to say this is the book.
One of the best Bible companions I have ever read
Giving insights into the scriptures, from excellent scholars. Good for anyone who wants to learn more about the Bible.
   and very easy to read
This is a very interesting book, and very easy to read, said Dr. Richard. Goin. I'll be an asset to the university as a reference book.
This AMAZING book will open your eyes to reading the Bible in a whole new way!
Even if you have never read a book of this kind, you will find something new on every page. I'm a huge fan of Nancy's book. I think it would be a great book for a Scripture study group as well. Yes, I have been doing a lot of studying already and I am amazed at how much I have learned from this book. Pauley explores the Bible more deeply, and perhaps even teaches a child how to read the stories.
A valuable resource no doubt about it
It really helps to supply background for the origins of words and concurrent events that shed light on the meaning of passages, he said. By reading this first and then reading the assigned Bible passages I got far more out of the text and the story than I ever would have reading alone, and perhaps most importantly it helped me to avoid misinterpretations that could have led me down a completely different road.
