Book Overview

A stand-alone graphic novel from the world of Erin Hunter's #1 nationally bestselling Warriors series

In this manga adventure, discover the origins of one of Warriors' fiercest villains: Scourge, the leader of BloodClan in Warriors #6: The Darkest Hour.

When kittypet Tiny crosses paths with some wild forest cats defending their territory, they leave him with scars--and a bitter, deep-seated grudge. As his reputation grows among the strays and loners that live in the dirty brick alleyways of Twolegplace, he changes his name to Scourge and puts everything about his old life behind him . . . except his deadly desire for revenge.

(Spoiler warning) it is awsome ,it tells about Scourge, leader of BloodClan , as a kit , with his name being Tiny back then when
It tells about how Scourge, leader of BloodClan, was bullied by his brother and sister, and how he was raised by a single mom.

Scourge is my favorite villain from Warriors
He's my favorite villain from Warriors. To know more about past life is great. I absolutely loved The Rise of Scourge, Taylor said. Even if the'manga' is small, we learn a lot about ScourgeTiny. He's not just a heartless cat who enjoys killing his clanmate, he's a great leader who protects his clanmate. He wasn't lucky to have friends to help him or faith in StarClan to guide him, like Firestar did. I still love him even more now that I know how hard his life was. Thanks to all the sponsors and advertisers, Hunter said.

Great book but not in color
Brand new book, "The Fifth Estate," is a great deal. My daughter is a huge fan of the series. She also wrote several other graphic novels. It's just that I was a little disappointed it wasn't in color. Overall, a great book.

Only takes an hour or two to read, but good story
I knocked it off a star because I had expected more character development, story line and depth like Erin Hunters novels. While it does a good job of answering the questions, there just wasn't as much story as I expected. The artwork was outstanding, but the backstory was also interesting. The lack of length is the only reason my daughter and I both agreed that it was a 4-star book, she said.

   Gives deeper understanding
At first I thought that Scourge was a cold-blooded killer who only cared about killing people. It's just that Microsoft won't let go of E3 without a fight. After he defeated a dog, his siblings came crawling back for help. He would have made a good Clan cat, even if he was a tad late. The price is a bit high for a thin book, but you can obviously decide if you want to buy it or not.

   Amazing but...
It would be great to have a sequel, but I think it would be short. I think it is a good book to show children that being young and weak doesn'tmean that you are not strong in any ways, but remember to not overdo it, turning into the dark side. But I think it's wierd because when Scourge left home, he met the clan cats from Clan and then TIGERPAW attacked him, said Dennehy. Then in the later part of the story, which aired Tuesday on CBS, Ms. Watson went to Tiger's aide and asked for help. Can you imagine how long it takes Scourge to recognise the cat that attacked him? Even if he doesn't know Tigerstar's name, can't he notice that Tigerstar's fur colour is familiar? Berkshire Hathaway made a profit of $7 billion last year alone, its best performance.

Engaging read for adults and kids
My daughters and I have been reading through the recently released color versions of the graphic novels. There are always going to be characters and world of Warriors that are captivating. But the stories challenge kids in the best way possible. Even a little violence can creep into a Halloween costume. He also said that the writer "has meaning behind these story points." It's just that the call is always in my opinion. Very good read, said Robert Reichert, senior research fellow at the Carnegie Endowment.

Keep up the good work Erin Hunter! This book is a pleasure for the world and will be loved by many warrior fans!
I recommend this book to anyone. It's a great descriptive dialog, Raymond said. Her character was developed nicely along with the clan's different perspective of how life should be lived, Burgoyne said.

   Greatest book of all time
This book is very good because it takes a very loved well known character and gives them a great back story... [but] he has such an amazing back story that makes since it really shows why he is such a great cat and shows that being small does not mean you are any weaker in fact maybe even stronger.
