Book Overview

A graphic novel adventure from the world of Erin Hunter's #1 nationally bestselling Warriors series

In the first book of the Tigerstar & Sasha manga arc, a kittypet named Sasha searches for a new home--and wonders if she might find it with ShadowClan and its leader, Tigerstar, during the events of the Warriors: The Prophecies Begin series.

When Sasha is forced to leave her kittypet home, she must forge a solitary new life in the forest. Life on her own is exciting at first but quickly gets lonely. Then Sasha meets Tigerstar, leader of ShadowClan, and wonders whether she would be better off joining the ranks of his forest Clan. But Tigerstar has many secrets, and Sasha isn't sure she can trust him.

   What a surprise!! (Spoilers)
It was so surprising to find out that the Tiger Star met Sasha and how it never showed up in any books. It was really dramatic and cute, and I'm glad that she was not expecting something bad for him. I was expecting something like that to happen very interesting.

   Bite Marks!
The problem was listed as good. Then it should have been not so good. I mean it is completely readable and I am not sure what exactly qualifies as good, and I know that the ratings they use for product condition are somewhat gray and relative, but I feel like a human bite marks all over the spine and the partially digested corner knock this one out of the good category. Yes, wear and tear. But... nope, partially eaten. Good thing it is for a ten-year-old boy who will probably also get boogers on it.

   A little wierd
The recommendation was made by a friend. I don 't know what I hoped for-I guess an adventure story for my kids to get them reading. On relationships and drama, very heavy. My daughters liked it, but I didn 't want them to read anymore.

Terrible Art Style + Mediocre Writing
The art looks like someone waited until the last minute to turn in an art project. The Hunters have usually great writing. I read most of the series and have always been attracted by the plot and writing. Why should this be any different just because it is shorter? It shouldn't be.
