He's already had to solve a murder and locate a missing moon base commander. Now, he just wants to have a calm, quiet thirteenth birthday. But, of course, trillionaire (and total pain) Lars Sjoburg ruins it--by being poisoned. Now there's another potential killer loose on Moon Base Alpha, and Dash is forced to identify the most likely suspects. Suddenly Dash finds himself with a target on his back. Adult Content..parents be aware

I was disappointed in the author and his adult content in this book. We listened to each of his Spy School books, which we enjoyed other than potty humor. But this! Making kids eat Poop and introducing adult themes in a children's book is sad! Indy's trust lost over this one, and disappointed in Stuart Gibbs.

Greatly written but some bad things

While the writing is impeccable, it mentions LGBTQ+, which I personally do not support. It has upset me very much because I loved the other books and Stuert Gibbs writing.

I love this book
Derived From Web , Jul 31, 2020
Stuart Gibbs creates a fantastic end to a great series. I see reviews that complain about the fact that there is a little bit of homosexuality and that makes me just mad. I think it is horrible that these people tell their children that if they are homosexual, it is bad. This is truly horrifying to me. Meanwhile, Stuart Gibbs is a good author and is very much suited to teach children very fantastic morals. The climate change is not a political statement ; it is a fact. The climate change is happening. And if you are raising the generation that will solve this mess by saying that climate change is not real anymore than this is a problem and the only way to address it is by doing things, as Stuart Gibbs is doing.

Another great book

What an amazing series, sad that it could not last longer. The story is filled with many things for many people to be interested in, and everything written was not only emotionally charged, but also filled with thought. I was hoping that the cause of the end of the series would have something to do with the plot of the murderer and that the Moon - base Alpha series would continue.

Oh heck no!!!
Derived From Web , Jan 23, 2020
These books were fantastically written, but then in the last book, the author thought it was somehow appropriate, in homosexuality! In a KIDS book? REALLY?!?! No! Oh Hell! I HATE that I had to suddenly censure my reading of this book to my 10 year old. Yes, he knows about homosexuality, because it is thrown daily in our children's faces, and we live in the real world, but is this appropriate for a child's book???! I NEVER recommend these books or this author to ANYONE.

This book is a good book for children, because I saw my son red it in 2 days. It is also interesting, but first read the book in the series.

Avoid These Adventures in Global Warming
Derived From Web , Aug 13, 2018
I felt sad '' reading it with my daughter. It is a fairly good story in the main and a little bit penned. I thought it was nice to have a book with a girl who solves mysteries and has adventures, rather than obsessing about her feelings. Despite the book's setting in a base on the Moon, however, the author manages to insert several passages about global warming and a gay relationship. If you think Gay couples and global warming are appropriate for your children, you 'll love this. Alternatively, find something more wholesome.
