   Awesome Book. My students and I Love It and the Others that Mo Willems have Written
I chose this rating because my first-grade students loved the book. I bought this and other and Piggie books because we go to the school library and they are always checked out. I bought them for my classroom library. In turning down the NIMA offer, Drummond said he would allow three books. The school library has such a policy, but students cannot take them home. If you want your child to read, you have to have interesting and fun books to read and to listen to. As a kid I didn't have books to read. But my teachers always had books to read to us and a few books that we could read in class, he said. For most of the children I teach, a book is a luxury. I want to share that luxury with them and their families.

   Love this series!
These have very simple illustrations and a lot of very emotional turns of phrase, so hopefully you can start from the beginning, keeping kids from developing that awful droning readaloud voice so many children have. He's wild about it, and wants to throw it. Even though he has no intention of ever throwing a ball, Gerald takes things seriously, talking about how long it takes to learn to throw a baseball. It's a wonder no one was injured in the "Piggy's" around the world smash. Realizing this, Gerald decides that the important thing is having fun. Best moment: Gotta Pig's absurd little Super Pig song when she thinks she threw the ball around the world.

   Cute Book
I am a huge fan of George Bush. He's a wild card, and perhaps even a friend, said his mate, Elephant. In "Elephant's Leap," the youngster is serious about the game of throwing a ball. Like many Piggie fans, Mr. Daschle is a firm believer that everything is just for having fun. Two are talking on the phone, one of them is clearly trying to get what he's saying. In the end of the book, Elephant realizes that Piggie is into something. Really easy to read, and the illustrations are great. And, I love how the text is written through bubbles. It's great to see the children, Mr. Dhaliwal said. Just a fun way to get involved, said Blair.

   lots of fun to read
Mo Willems has hit another home run with this book that features the customary comical repartee between Elephant and Piggie. Just about everything about "Piggy" is right: She's dancing along to La La La! He's just trying to find a ball. He's wild, he says, "and I found my ball!" He has a good excuse: "Pooh, did he know the secret to throwing the ball?" We love the challenge, says Piggie. It's just that time of year again. As he retrieves the ball, Elephant snatches the ball away and proclaims, "Throwing this ball is not easy." What a great read, said Dr. Harold Bloom, who co-chaired the inquiry. It's great to read aloud, even though the writer is not that good.

An inspirational children's book about looking at your situationcircumstances in a positive light despite discouraging outside influences. Strong message. A total of five kids were ejected.    Love Mo Willems
We have most of the series somewhere on this blog, Mr. Rule told us. I am sure you will be able to find them. I love the illustrations, the book is great. They are colorful and love that they are not over packed, Mr. Dhaliwal said. The two animators, Brian Stokes and Robert Hein, said the film was "simple but also love." Like the other books in the series, the text is for new readers but also a lot of fun. We love reading for one character through the whole book, but we are also reading it together. I highly recommend this book to anyone.

   One of the best E&P stories
My two year old LOVES these books. The stories are engaging, funny, and the lesson is that you don't have to be a math teacher to enjoy them. This one is one of our favorites, highly recommend.
