Love it!

I gave this to my husband when I said I'm pregnant. He has been learning about me and baby's development while reading the book. I've read some of the chapters and they match my pregnancy app statistics, written in terms that guys can understand. It's a great way to get a couple together.

Every dad should read this once! Great way to say we're pregnant!

I gave him this as a gift because I wanted to tell him he was going to be a dad, I bought this before we got pregnant. Every Saturday my husband reads a chapter to me in my belly and I spend some quality belly time with him, so he can see how I'm feeling. It's very easy to do and he keeps it simple which is nice.

Get the encyclopedia instead

My husband was not a fan of this book. It seems to be written for new dads who don't want to be dads. He loved the pregnancy encyclopedia more than this satire.

Reads like borderline plagiarism of “what to expect when you’re expectingâ€
Derived From Web , Jan 11, 2020
There is plagiarism of what to expect when you are expecting. Leave this off of your list if you stick with the bestseller.

Don't expect to learn anything important
Derived From Web , Dec 6, 2019
The book is written for idiots. I don't recommend this book if you want to learn more about what's happening with your wife and baby. He writes paragraphs on common sense stuff like support your partner and do more chores, yet he only writes 2 sentences of important information for each month of pregnancy... all while making jokes and trying to be funny.

YO BRO
Derived From Web , Oct 22, 2019
This is the worst book you can buy for your partner when you have a child. I thought it would be well structured for a guy who doesn't like sitting down and reading a whole book but the content is fluff and doesn't tell you anything. The writing is horrible and this guys thinks he's being funny a lot of the time when, in reality, it is just humiliation to read his attempts at humor. Do not buy this book. It won't make a difference to your life.

A good mix of knowledge and eye rolls.
Derived From Web , Aug 29, 2019
I think it's great that there is a book aimed at fathers, and that potential fathers want to be informed and involved. There are better books out there. The Mayo Clinic is full of more information and less wink wink nod references. The book reads like it was written by a Kevin Smith character. I rolled my eyes so many times that they almost rolled out of my head. I put this book down at the beginning of the month and then went over to the more in depth book from the Mayo Clinic. If the man in your life simply can't remain interested in pregnancy or child development without consistent references to Tango and Cash or referring to sex as a sporting event, then this book may be for them. The comic book adaptation is something I am looking forward to.

A lot of information is easy to read. Practical approach to education. My wife likes the information I show in the whole process. She can be aware of what she is going through and offer better support.
