If you drop just one soda can out the window, it's no big deal.right? But what if everybody did that? What if everybody broke the rules.and spoke during story time, didn't wash up, or splashed too much at the pool? Then the world would be a mess. But what if everybody obeyed the rules so that the world would become a better place? Using humorous illustrations rendered in mixed media, these questions are answered in a child-friendly way and show the consequences of thoughtless behavior.

This book is great. We only read it once, but it has helped the kids see things differently. I teach my kids good morals early on. They understand that there is a right and wrong way to do things. I think this book is very good.

Great for Earth Day or Citizenship Lessons!
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
The kids in my classroom loved this story. The illustrations are really funny and they thought the examples were hilarious. On Earth Day, my class asked me what this story had to do with Earth Day, and I said it had to do with how everyone has an impact, no matter how insignificant our actions are.

Fun Way to Teach Kids Responsibility
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
I bought this for my children. Kids don't think about how their actions might affect others. The author used a clever way to get the kids to think about the consequences of their actions. The illustrations were funny. I smiled while reading this book as I could hear my mother's voice in my head saying what if everyone did that?

Don't buy this book! It's terrible!
Derived From Web , Dec 8, 2019
Terrible book. It's boring and misses an opportunity. What if everyone did it? There were different scenarios. It never explains what would happen if everyone did that. What if everyone hugged their mom every day? Everyone should do that! It doesn't tie the book together. We returned it to Amazon. Disappointed is an understatement.

... wish they would show the grown ups as a better example. Every page when it's the adults time ...
Derived From Web , Oct 3, 2017
The grown ups would be a better example. The adults seem angry and short with the child when they are told what if everyone did that. My kids expected the grown ups to find a patient way to teach the child, but they were distracted by how angry most of the grown ups look, and also pointed out why only children get in trouble for things adults can get in trouble for. It is a great lesson to learn if everyone did that, but what if everyone just scolded a child for not knowing how to behave? I wonder where the kids get it. This booking helped me find more compassion to my kids and show me how popular they are.
