Book Overview

If you could have any animal's hair, whose would you choose?
If you had a polar bear's double coat, you would never have to wear a hat when playing in the snow. If you had reindeer hair, it could help you stay afloat in water. And if you had a porcupine's hair, no bully would ever bother you again
WHAT IF YOU HAD ANIMAL HAIR? is a follow-up to the adorable WHAT IF YOU HAD ANIMAL TETH? Each spread will feature a photographic image of the animal and its hair on the left and an illustration of a child with that animal's hair on the right. As in ANIMAL TETH, the illustrations will be humorous and will accompany informative text.

   Wonderfully Engaging!
This book will reinforce the lesson of how animals adapt to their habitats. What's more, the book is full of facts, not just pictures. If you enjoyed reading this book, you must have missed the entire episode. 0 3171616 This is definitely an engaging read. My daughter has read this book over and over. We would like to have hair like an arctic fox, Tunick said. Sandra Markle is an extremely talented writer and Scholastic has done a great job picking their authors.

   Cute animal books
The pictures are so realistic my 5 year old will love them. Both are very cute and informative about how the animals benefit from their different parts of the body.

   great for entire family!
These are amazing books for all ages. There are multiple books in the series, so we all love them. I have two kids that are 4 and 7. Both have enjoyed reading them. They call it, "The Beatles."

   We have the entire series
Great book, easy to read, and very entertaining. It's just that many great pictures. My boys absolutely love them. The silliness helps them retain knowledge about animals, Mrs. Dhaliwal said. When they see the zebra at a zoo or on TV, they refer to the book.

   Damaged book
The package is on its way to your address. Very disappointing as a birthday present for this weekend. The other books were fine, too, he said. It looks like this one was damaged, too.

   My 5y/o loves these
My son absolutely loves the book. Yes, I do too. He loves animals and pretends to be something daily lol so these books are right up his alley they basically tell you why animals have certain hair or teeth and what they do with them also talks about what it would be like if you had hairteeth, then at the very end it explains why humans have our type. He also really enjoys the who would win books, i would recommend them to anyone.

A fun way to teach an important science concept!
I can't keep them on the book shelf of my library. The author did a great job of teaching an important science concept in a witty, engaging way, said Dr. Goin. I love these books so much that I pre-ordered the next one, which is coming out right as school is starting, so I can't wait to read it. These books would make a great addition to any collection, whether it's at home or at school or just for fun, they say. It's just that they put it in the wrong order."
