You will love what you will get.
The book is truly exceptional, said Dr. Chester Floyd, director of the University of Michigan's Center for Book Research. He also added that the book has few color pages with photos, that was a great surprise and interesting to see photos of the life story of the author. The book itself was amazing, reading it felt like meeting and listening to Stephen Schwarzman in person. Thanks for this amazing book.

   Really, really good.
He has a very good insight, said Dr. Goin. I picked up a few strong business lessons, he said. Not only did I get the call, but I also found out how to properly use VBA.

   But it now
I didn't realize he had a front row seat to so many crucial events over the years, he said.

Full respect for Schwarzman and his company but....
I fully admire the recount of some of the more interesting deals and a little recount of his childhood memories, but the lessons of what it takes to succeed in business are severely lacking. But two things really concerned me: One was the safety of the women and the other was the cost of doing business. Recalling stories from many, many years ago, he weaves together quotes, massive quotes, and dramatic re-enactments. The question is how did he remember exactly what partners said over 20 years ago? I was looking for what it takes in the quotes and all that did was raise my spidey sense as to the validity of the entire article. That's fine, but hardly groundbreaking or probably the reason he is worth billions of dollars. Time is precious, this one might be one you buy when it's discounted and you have extra time to do other things.

A great book about why Blackstone is successful
In "Luck," Michael Lewis argues that success is not just luck, but culture and meritocracy. A must-read for managers and investors.

Excellent book that is filled with powerful words of wisdom and how to information.
This book is very inspiring and well written, said Dr. Goin. In a conference call yesterday, Stephen Schwarzman, Blackstone's co-founder and chief executive, described in detail how he founded and built the firm into the powerhouse it is today. I really enjoyed the book, Morgenthau said.

   Wonderful story with excellent advice
Through his prism of wealth and success, Michael Hewson's story is told of the amazing journey of an outstanding man who built one of the world's largest and most successful investing companies. Overall, I enjoyed this book as it also covered some of the major financial issues in the past thirty years. The Style was very personable and there was excellent advice, particularly for people in college or early in their careers, Mr. Dhaliwal said. This is a must-read for anyone in finance and should appeal to many others as well.

The pursuit of the American Dream and Success
In "The Invention of Hugo," Stephen Schwarzman tells the story of how a young boy from Pennsylvania took an unconventional path to success. He is one of the most impressive and generous people I have ever met.

Business insight into an amazing life
This is an enjoyable read that gives encouragement to accomplishing more in your life than you could previously have thought possible, Levine said. It shows what determination, accumulated wisdom and altruism can accomplish and add to the betterment of us all, he said.
