Book Overview

Like a snowflake, each poo has a wondrous uniqueness. But what does it mean? What's Your Poo Telling You will help you figure it out.

Find out just how much you can learn from studying what's in the bowl: With universal appeal (everyone poops, after all), this witty, illustrated description of over two dozen dookies (each with a medical explanation written by a doctor) details what one can learn about health and well-being through your poo. A floater? It's probably due to a buildup of gas. Now think back on last night's dinner, a burrito perhaps?

- All the greatest hits are here: The Log Jam, The Glass Shard, The Deja Poo, The Hanging Chard? the list goes on and on, so you'll learn about all of the variations and what they mean to your health
- Also includes sidebars, trivia, over 60 euphemisms for number 2, and unusual case histories that make this the ultimate bathroom reader
- With illustrations included, you'll get loads of facts about your health in a hilarious and entertaining book that finally gives poo the respect it deserves

Josh Richman and Dr. Anish Sheth have written a tell-all tribute to poo that demystifies the inner working of the digestive tract and explains your health by what you see before you flush.

- Josh Richman has an MBA from Stanford University and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area
- Anish Sheth, M.D., is a gastroenterologist in Princeton, New Jersey, and is affiliated with the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro
- A must-have gift for any bowel-movement obsessed loved one

Leave this little gem next to your guest room commode - a fun read!
I read this little book in one sitting, but not on the loo, though my husband put it beside the commode! It is a very informative read and you will learn the good, the bad and the downright ugly about your business ''. It is a lighthearted read, but does give you some advice on what might be something you need to ask your doctor about. For example, if you see blood in the commode, it may just be the fact that you had a feed of beets or if you do not seek medical advice. Full of fun anecdotes with some little illustrations. You will learn some useful tips like not to leave your toothbrush near your commode read the book and it will explain why!

If you ever wondered why is your "product in the ...
If you ever wondered why your product is in the bowl the way it is, you will find the answers right here. It is written eloquently, with a humorous smoothness creating a sophisticated outcome. This book does not consist of inappropriate vocabulary ; its aim is to entertain at the same time and inform. You learn a lot. Some of the chapters are Monster Poo, Pebble Poo, Camouflage Poo, Hanging Chad, Number Three, Ring of Fire... They will never have the understanding. If you have a curious mind and a decent amount of humor, you will appreciate this book.

   Best bathroom book EVER!
I bought it as a Christmas gift for a friend and liked it so much that I bought another for our guest bathroom! We have a small basket of books on top of the guest toilet and this is BY FAR everyone's favorite book to look at while sitting in the loo! What colortexture and smell tells you about what you ate, what you did and what your body needs. ) Seriously great buy!

Great fun, and there were also so helpful
Because we are the type of family we are, the book was discussed at the Christmas dinner table. Each person seated at the table read a passage, then followed a discussion period. Great fun, and there were also helpful, healthful, and educational takeaways as well. We are all more informed about what we leave behind and what it means or could mean dietary changes, behavioral changes or medical attention. It was smaller than I thought it would be, but it fits in a briefcase and is handy. Cheers :

   Informative, Entertaining, Eye-catching
I recommend for a random birthday, gag and house-warming gifts.

   Bent :(
The book is funny, but the way I received it, I bought it for a gag gift, but unfortunately the book was bent, making it used, not exactly appealing, and I really don 't want to give someone a gift of a book about poop, but rather thin and easily bendable.

   Highly Educational
tells you what poop means so that you can sit in the potty and figure out what you ate too much of and what you should add to your diet. I could have done without the slang poop terms in the table of contents, but I knew what they were referring to and was able to go to that page.

   Amusing
Amusing : Regardless of what people say, toilet humor always seems to go well with the younger crowd, and this was a highlite at the white elephant gift exchange.
