My 6 year old grandson loves reading. My daughter says that he likes making choices and is paying attention to the consequences. There are 9 possible endings and he was very happy about it. His parents read to him at night and he reads audio books on the way to school. He likes all kinds of books, but he participates in this one. He's read through 3 of the endings so far. I bought all of the books in What Should Danny Do? since he's gone through every book that I have at my house. When we zoom, Series1 is to read to him. It's a big hit!

This series is magic

I don't know what magic this series holds, but it works. My son is fascinated by this series. He has been struggling with reading for a long time. I brought this book because he never asks for books other than video games. He read it when it arrived. Read it to me. He took it to school and read it to his teachers. Even read it aloud to a small group of kids. I ordered the two other books. He loves them! So happy with this purchase. It's!

This book is amazing

My grandson is 4 years old. We enjoyed reading the stories and seeing which ending he chose. Danny had a superhero cape line. While reading this book, we had a lot of great conversations about choices.

Entertaining AND Educational
Derived From Web , Aug 9, 2021
The book's illustrations and text grab the attention of children and the questions keep them interested. Further discussion on the emotional IQ messaging is invited in the book. I would like to see follow-on books that address other decisions kids face. It would be interesting if the book had a girl main character who had to make choices. Emotional IQ education would be enriched by interactions between them.

My children like this book a lot. I remind them what Danny chooses and how it ends every time. I bought it a year ago, and we still read it. The pictures are good quality and colorful.

Nice quality. Fun for the kids. Wish options were not all good vs bad.
Derived From Web , Jan 16, 2020
I have been looking for a book for my 7 year old to read. I loved reading those books as a kid. The stories in this book are based on what the kids choose. My daughter has been enjoying it. The choices would be the only thing I would change. Each second has two options. One is a good choice while the other is a bad one. They have to choose the wrong behavior in order to have any variation on the story path. It would be great if there were at least three choices and two of them were positive. It would be better if the choices weren't right vs wrong and instead they were options that could lead the character on different adventures.

Problem solving

He read the entire book in one sitting after I bought this for him. He had to make choices within the story based on the character's situation and then flip to the appropriate page. My son doesn't sit still, but with this book he didn't feel time was running by. He is going to get this one for Christmas, because he just ordered another one. Playing video games for an hour is worse than reading. Happy mother.

Magic book!
Derived From Web , Oct 24, 2019
My children love this book. The first time I read through, I sat with my 7 year old while the older played in the room. We began the story again after he agreed to read back through and change some choices. My older one came over and said "What!?" as the story changed. How did it do that? While we read through again, he came to join us. We read 3 more versions of the story alone. They still like to read it.

Excellent

This is a great book. A great story with many different endings and great illustrations. This is similar to the old "Choose Your Own Adventure" books for younger children. That is a great idea. It's fun to be read aloud or explore on their own. It's great for children to know that choices have consequences. The parents in the book had pleasant consequences, so make sure you follow through with them. There are five stars.
