   Lots of good information
I've read all the books, but this is by far the best. It offers help with pregnancy symptoms, food aversions, and recipes - all things I really needed. There is also information about if you are gaining weight too fast or too slowly, so it covers all of us! It has helped me to be more nutrient aware and have more options for foods, especially when I'm in the mood for something else! I would recommend this book to anyone.

Basic cookbook, not what I expected
This book is good if you have absolutely no idea about basic nutrition, and rarely cook or need some sort of guide to a recipe, it's just a recipe book. I'm not sure what I was looking for, but this wasn't it. If you already have a basic understanding of proper nutrition and cooking for yourself, then this book won't do much good.

   Pretty straight forward...
Mostly common sense - eat healthy, eat well, drink water, and eat well, too. My husband and I haven't read the whole book, but as a quick reference, we were not really hoping for anything. We really just pick it up and glance at it here and there, he said.

If you already know about eating healthy during pregnancy, this book will reiterate that, but I like the daily dozen breakdown for protein, vital vitamins, and other essential nutrients. Those who are trying to eat and are already eating healthy should consult their physician before they eat, Bruno said. I have not tried the recipes yet.

Take the guess work out of your diet while pregnant
It was a rush to get my first book, and I couldn't wait. Like many new mommies I had to worry about what I should and should not eat. He also said that McCall's book was "the best-selling hardback in 2001." But the agency also offers free advice on how to avoid common pitfalls, offering recipes and even spelling out whole meal plans in detail. Pregnancy is a great time to review your diet and make changes if necessary. I took away a lot of the recipes and still use them for the last couple of years of my life. This book basically tells you how to eat healthy without starving yourself and can continue to be used even after your child comes along. It's great to be back to work, and I just pulled this book out again to refresh and remind myself all the wonderful things I can EAT with fuss-free meal planning. It's great to hear that people are actually talking about it.

   Great
This book is wonderful, Raymond said. I've seen the whole series, and I love it. This book was surprisingly informative, even for a book of this stature.

   A lot of information
It provides a lot of information on why eating healthy during pregnancy is so important, while also providing lists of healthy foods.

   Gift for a friend
I bought this book along with some others as a present for a friend who was expecting. She said she loved them both and that they had a lot of helpful information.

not what I was looking for
But the recipies all have a very long ingrediant list and can be complicated. It was mostly a case of me being told what to eat while pregnet and a halfway simple way to do it. They were good, I was happy with how healthy they were but took alot of time and don't keep very well.
