Good book- but for older kids
This purchase was for our kindergartener, who loves the weather, and to fulfill a reading requirement at his school. While this book is great, it is pretty long and detailed for a 5 - 6 year old. Our son is too clever to skip parts these days, so that while this book won 't become a favortie, it is full of good information that is easy to understand and while it is not over the head of a kindergartener, the length is.

I am glad I decided to buy this one instead
My four-year-old loves this book. After having previously ordered a book that was plain and too advanced, I am glad that I decided to buy this one instead. He absorbed more information from this book and memorized it. I would suggest this to other parents whose children are 3-5 and would like to learn more about the weather.

   Informative!
I am homeschooling my 4 year old preschooler and we are big fans of Let's read and find out science books. Although some of the concepts in this book were a little advanced for him, he learned a lot from it, gained some new vocabulary and enjoyed reading it. As he gets older, we'll be able to get more from it.

Shows the low and high pressures
This book teaches high and low pressures as well as the fronts, etc. I have not found another book at this age that did, and the diagrams were very helpful. Merci beaucoup!
