One of my favorite speakers and authors is Bill Johnson. I read it for the first time when Heaven invades Earth in 2009. It has transformed my life and ministry. The real life stories in this book are as mind blown and faith stirring. I recommend this book to everyone who knows that there is more than we have currently in Christ. I've always walk in a higher level of faith than before. This is an absolute must read for everyone who believes that Jesus is who he says.

I have read this book a number of times and have not been challenged, but my sense of knowing that I am walking the right path with Christ has been greatly encouraged. You 'll read higher-level theological comments on this book. I am not ignorant when things like this appear in any book, but I buy books like this looking for information that will bring me deeper into the knowledge of the truth of the kingdom of God. I do this all the time in critical conversations while eating pizza, but that doesn 't cause me to discredit the person I am talking to, in fact, that person may be the one who has encouraged me and built me in the Lord for many years. This book falls under this category.

Inspiring, Biblical and Non-Religious

The book was extremely inspirational. It is biblically unsound, so do not listen to the reviews that posit that Bill Johnson denies the deity of Christ... That is absolute nonsense. Jesus was entirely God and fully man, but he emptied himself of his divine powers and performed his ministry as a man commissioned by the Holy Spirit, so we could know how to live out of the Holy Spirit. That is not the deity of Christ in anyway. This book is conjuring and inspiring and a great expression of what should be the Christian Church in today's world.

By denying Jesus as God, denies the trinity

On Pg 29, Jesus stated that he was not fully divine when he walked the Earth. If he was in his divine ministry merely human, not in vain, his crucifixion and death on the cross was in vain. There can be no reconciliation and atonement for sins without the substitutionary blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ once for all. And of course, those were ineffective because these blood sacrifices had to be repeated over and over again. In actuality, Jesus was fully human, completely God, offered as an acceptable blood sacrifice for our sins on the cross, and died the third day, and is now seated at the right hand of God.
