   Great starting point for research project.
She used it as part of her research for a paper and this book in particular sparked an interest in Darwin's research. In this series we used several books for school projects.

   Great non-fiction book for children about the amazing Galapagos Islands! 🐢
Good factual information about the Galapagos Islands, written in chapters with some black and white illustrations. This non-fiction book would be great for learning about this part of the world or a child traveling with their parents to the Galapagos Islands. A fantastic place to visit a wonderful trip!

   Making Connections with the Galapogoes Island - fun and informative.
A great informational book for primary and intermediate readers. Interesting, well-written and informative. Facts that interested listenersreaders include the origin of the name Galápagoes and the other species of animals on the islands, particularly the blue-footed boobie birds. Pair this book with other informative books about the Galapagos, but be sure to read Marie's Galápagos girl - Galapaguea. Both of them are morphed while wearing the blue-footed booby socks sold to save the endangered and extinct animals and morph it all into a discussion of endangered and endangered species. More connections for reading and research.

   Full of detail, great for kids!
I am a teacher and bought this so that I could learn about the Galapagos before speaking about them and 2) keep a copy of the book in my classroom. It is a great read for children aged 7-13, depending on their reading ability. It is well-organized and interesting.
