AN INSTANT NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELER

Honest, timely, and completely thrilling. --Reese Witherspoon (Reese's Book Club x Hello Sunshine book pick)

Sloane, Ardie, Grace, and Rosalita have worked at Truviv, Inc. for years. The sudden death of Truviv's CEO means their boss, Ames, will likely take over the entire company. Each of the women has a different relationship with Ames, who has always been surrounded by whispers about how he treats women. Those whispers have been ignored, swept under the rug, hidden away by those in charge.

But the world has changed, and the women are watching this promotion differently. This time, when they find out Ames is making an inappropriate move on a colleague, they aren't willing to let it go. This time, they've decided enough is enough.

Sloane and her colleagues' decision to take a stand sets in motion a catastrophic shift in the office. Lies will be uncovered. Secrets will be exposed. And not everyone will survive. All of their lives--as women, colleagues, mothers, wives, friends, even adversaries--will change dramatically as a result.

If only you had listened to us, they tell us on page one of Chandler Baker's Whisper Network, none of this would have happened.

   Not my fav!
Almost done with this one, didn 't catch my attention until 34 of the way through. I finish the book so that I can move on to the next.

   Workplace terrors
Accurately portrayed workplace scenarios that most of us are forced to experience because we needed this job to help our family! Chandler Baker thanks you.

1
   Interesting story. Terrible writing
This should be a fast-paced read, perfect for a plane ride or a day on the beach. But the writing was strange, long and boring passages added in strange spots that really distracted the story, half the time it was hard to know what character said or did, or how much guilt they felt because they worked and had a baby. She took a good story and trashed it with repetitive nonsense.

   Poorly Written! Yuck.
Really poorly written ''. Couldn 't get past the bad writing to enjoy the story. Reading around Page 30 topped Stopped Reading.

2
   Lackluster
It was really predictable and very lackluster. If you want a quick read that you don 't have to put a lot of time into this book, then you are a good read. After a good read, this would be a heavy book.

   Page-turner!
I cover this book cover to read in under 24 hours. It has murder, empowering complex storylines with female characters and so much more. I related to so many of the female protagonists and the challenges in the workplace that they face. I could not put the book down. I personally recommend this site highly!

Definitely a "Me Too" movement book
The flow of the book was for me a little choppy and slow. At 30%, he started to connect with the characters a little and was pretty good at 40%. This was the third new author for me off of Bustle. com's summer 2019 thriller list, which was recommended by author Robyn Harding. This list is worth checking out.

   Take as old as time
At least these women had one another. And sure, there was a traitorous backstabbing botch there, but at least they had each other.

4
   Timely, Relevant and mostly Suspenseful
I liked this book, though I recognized early on that it is basically a mashup of two better books, Joshua Ferris'; then We Came to the End and Liane Moriarty's Big Little Lies. I give it 3 stars out of 12. It is decently written, but the jumping in time plot line was sometimes confusing and I became aware about halfway through that I wish there was more suspense.

   Disappointed
The writing was choppy, hard to follow. I wanted to like it, because I believe in the overlying message of the book, but could never get into it. This was the July Book Club selection by Reese Witherspoon. I bought it without reading the sample, as I usually do. Won 't make that mistake again.
