   Great Books
I have purchased many of these books and they never disappoint. There are so many that not your run of the mill famous person so teachers like their choices too, he said. Pauley, senior vice president of Simon & Schuster, said: "I will continue to buy these books." Before I give them to the kids, I read each one.

   Great for the classroom
I used this book for students to study a person in history and then write a report on it. The boy was in a 4th grade classroom at the time. Each student read the novel on their own and filled out a novel study I created for non-fiction books. The students were able to follow the book with ease and understand what they were reading, he said. Great resource, said Dr. Robert Hemenway, director of the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

   amazing book
I've read all the books, but I'm not a huge fan of the first book. If I where to recommed it to someone I would recommend this to my 3 best friends.... it had great facts.

   Great book
I have a 7-year-old who is a bookworm. She loves mostly fantasy fiction type books, but she has to read all of these Who IsWas books.

   Great Series
The students will really feel pulled into the information and the way it is set up brings all types of readers to understand about the subject easily, he said. Add to your collection, especially as this is one of those biographies of someone still making a difference in the world.

   Good book
It's great to be back with my friends, said Blair. Jane Austen's widow, Charlotte Bronte, said she never saw the "Gladiator" chimpanzee throw goodall off an edge. It's a very interesting book, said Penguin Random House.

Great biography but contains a story about cannibalism of an infant chimp.
We love the Who is Who series, and for the most part this is a great book. This reduced my 9yo daughter to tears, she was so upset. Jane Goodall's book reveals how her views on chimps being like humans had changed after researching them for years. I feel like that could have been accomplished without that particular story, especially since the intended audience is elementary students, Morgenthau said.

   what's not to love?
My 7-year-old daughter absolutely loves them and picks out which ones to read next. She's currently in love with any female scientist or adventurer, so she must be a bit hit!

   I love true stories
It was a present for my grandkids. The largest number of injuries, 7.5 percent, were to the neck. He said the book was "a great read." None of us are very fond of reading, but this book was interesting and a true story, Graham said.
