   My kids enjoy this series
Of course, Anne Frank's story ends sadly, so I can 't say that my middle schoolers enjoyed the book, exactly, but were definitely engaged and appreciated the writing style. They learned a lot and were curious to learn more about Anne Frank. I used this book as part of a WWII unit study and even though the text would be fine for elementary readers, the details are interesting enough to attract the attention of the middle schoolers, as well. So far, my children have enjoyed every book from this series that we read, so far.

   Bravery thru out
She was a ill girl who was brave through it all and believed that no matter what, everything would be fine. I love reading her diary at my young age and now I'm older, I read it again.

I loved this book bc I love learning a lot about people and their lives! Anne Frank is a very interesting person! I learned that Frank is a very interesting person! The who was series come in very kid friendly language and have a lot of good info! I would recommend this book to people who like to read about people and their lives in really kid friendly language! 5 - Stars!

   Anne Frank's life and death written in a positive tone
I read this book to my 5th graders, I read it to my 5th Graders. I wanted to give an easy explanation or introduction to the Holocaust for children. They loved it and looked forward to my reading every day. We stopped for discussion and it led them to do their own research. Anne Frank's life was compared to theirs, and they learned to be grateful. Don 't expect harsh detail. The plot is short and her death is in a slow paragraph, but it is written for children. It was perfect for my 10 and 11 year olds. It was perfect for my 10 year olds.

   Good read for my 4th grader
My 4th grader loved this book! My 4th grader also loved it! She is into non-fiction books and I wanted to find something appropriate for her after someone gave her the Diary of Anne Frank. She really enjoyed it and finished it the next day... lol.

I read this book to my 7.5-year-old before bedtime. He goes to a Jewish prep. He goes to a Jewish prep. We are not Jewish, but we are not a school. When I finished reading it, he was eagerly looking at me with his head on the knuckles of his small hand and said : Do you have the book, I want to read her diary.

Typical of the Who Was franchise, the Who Was franchise addresses hard parts of history that might be difficult to understand in a way in which they can. It is important for children to understand our history and this is a perfect way to help them learn. A good introduction for children who might not understand the lesson that Anne Frank teaches Diary.
