Good book for an 8-10 year old

The interest in Helen Keller began when my daughter read a short story in school. It was a pretty easy read, too. She felt like she really learned more about herself without too much information being packed into a young adult book. These are great tools for children who take an interest in learning, he said.

Kids who don't want to try fiction because they think it's boring will really be surprised to find that real amazing people are interesting to learn about, he said. This is a great way to get your non-fiction haters interested and want to learn more, Sosa said. My young readers love telling me about these true heroes.

This is a great story for children, too. We used it for doing a written report, and it worked great. Good for younger children, too, said Jennette.

I think that the book was really good, I didn't all of the pictures and I'd like for it to have like 50 more facts, Ms. Dhaliwal said.

Perfect for biography reading lessons and report writing in 3rd/4th gr

The third-grade teacher gave them to her son for Christmas. Great for biography and then to use for report writing, Rodale said. The foam was so comfortable, I've used it three years in a row. Easy for their reading levels, educational and people they have heard of in their lives, it's all there. Had they not left them out 12 years, they would have been reading them.

Perfect for my Seven Year Old
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
My daughter and I read this book together. She could read most of it, but as she is just getting used to reading paragraph books we took turns to read it. The book is very well written for this age group, giving enough details, but moving the story along to keep young minds paying attention, said Dr. Julie Gerberding, director of the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. I'm glad that my daughter could learn of it now, said Dr. Helen Keller. These made for good summaries with some more detail of the things in the story without distracting from the flow, said Dr. Goin. I'm looking forward to more of these Whowas small biographies, he said.

Fascinating!
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
Whether you're a booklover or not, this line of books is a great addition to any child's library. It all happened while I was searching for a book, with a children's audience in mind, on the Beatles. So many great songs by McCartney, Byrne and so many more. In fact, I would say this one in particular, on Helen Keller, is very good. I am almost finished reading it to my 5 year old and I'm sure it will be one he will want to read on his own in a few years. But I learned so much about Helen and Annie by doing so. If you're into video games, this is a must-have. And if that wasn't enough, here are some more great videos featuring Paul McCartney.
