I bought these for my third grade classroom. I bought them for my elementary school. They are great for the biography genre and then use them for report writing. The three years I used them so far, the kids LOVED them. For their reading levels, easy for their reading levels, informative and people they have heard in their lives. They would read their own and then read the other that they had heard. 12 year old books would have been left and they would still be reading them.

Ordered this for my 10 year old son, who had to write a book report on a person who had an impact on history. This was understandable for him and had illustrations to help. He also liked the timeline in it.

My son read this out loud to the family on a long car trip. We learned things about Neil Armstrong that we didn't know about. It was boring and not informative. This was a great book!
