   Awesome book
These books are loved. My son, who is 9, has been reading them for a little over a year now and this book is wonderful. He seems to love Jackie Robinson, Teddy Roosevelt, Abraham Lincoln, Robert E Lee, what is the best of the world as an 8 and 9 year old? I also read them to him in the evenings and I really enjoy them as a 40-year-old father. I learned so much from them as well. Sometimes I read them before or after my son to have an educated discussion with him about the book's subject. I also get a lot out of them as well.

   We love this series
We probably have 9-10 different tittles. My 7 year old and I like to read them together. We learned a lot of interesting facts about historical figures and important moments as well as current.

   A great ballplayer and humanitarian
This is my son's first book from the Who Was... series, and he really enjoyed it. A few years ago, I had told him a bit about Roberto Clemente, but this gave him more details. I personally read some of it and can see that it is well-written and informative. Abraham Lincoln and Albert Einstein's books are next!

   Very disappointed!
After reading the reviews, I was really looking forward to reading about Roberto, who was the second greatest player I ever watched. This book writes like it is read by a 10 year old. Don 't waste your time reading this book.
