As young boys, Orville and Wilbur Wright loved all things mechanical. As young men, they gained invaluable skills essential for their success by working with printing presses, bicycles, motors, and any sort of machinery they could get their hands on. As adults, the brothers worked together to invent, build, and fly the world s first successful airplane. This is the fascinating story of the two inventors and aviation pioneers who never lost sight of their dream: to fly, and to soar higher

Can't go wrong with "Who Was/Were" and "What Was" series of books.
The series of Who WasWere is great for kids with a desire to know more about history. We've given our 8 yr. old grandson at least 23 of the series to our 8 yr. old grandson. He devours them and then follows with more questions. What a blessing for young minds...

As I have stated before I love this line of books
As I have stated before, I love this line of the books. I use them in reading sessions for children who need help with tutoring. They are of high interest and are good for learning vocabulary as many words are defined within the context of the sentences. It is full of interesting facts.

In my opinion, the Wright Brothers are one of the best American stories. They were taught American success story by self-taught. This book is a great read for everyone.

   Perfect for the Grands
Every so often I send a surprise book purchase to my grandson who love to read. These books are easily digestible for a 7 and 10 year old and I am getting good feedback from them and their parents! I have six or eight, I send two at a time and swap and read both with much interest each.

   it's ok
I bought this for our 5th grader for a book report. I think it is for younger readers. I send it back as the cover was creased. The book is for about 3-4th graders.
