Great for Dinosaur loving reluctant readers
My son is what I would describe as a sometimes struggling, but always reluctant reader and I am always on the lookout for exciting reading material for him. I've purchased loads of reading material, taken many trips to the bookstore, library, or even my mom's house. They are perfect for him as an animal lover! These are short, but they are thoroughly enjoyable reads. We have since acquired quite a few of the books in this collection and this is the one series that he asks for and that he is willing to read over and over. I definitely recommend these products to any child who is an animal lover. It's an engaging and educational story, and the images are visually appealing. Great little read, especially for those of us who have trouble reading. T. T. has a new book out Monday titled "Crackin' It."

   My son loves these books
My son absolutely loves the series of books. The illusionist reads them over and over again, sometimes by mistake. He also tells us why he loves the facts and compares the two.

Great for kids who loves dinosaurs
My 2 1/2 year old loved it. It's a fun way to teach them about the difference between dinosaurs and humans. If you're a big fan of dinos, this is for you! We have read it over and over again, and we have no idea why. Each time someone else wins, it's just that much fun.

Apex predator versus efficient pack hunters
Very nice little booklet that explains to children about different predator strategies for survival. It's a study in contrasts to the widely held belief that children learn by example. Plus, my nephew and his best friend really like raptors so I bought two of these books.

   Great series!
My 4 year old son has devoured them all. They're full of facts and trivia and lay out an imaginary battle between dinosaurs. The scientists' research has found that these activities help kids think about actions and reactions. Great series, said Blair.

   Don't know why...
My son and every other kid in his class LOVES these books. He reads them over and over, and he normally reads really dense books, too.

   My son is hooked!
Michael Connelly, Scholastic's executive vice president, said his son absolutely loves the books. Mr. Powell was not typically excited about story time, until we found them. They're really fascinating and he loves to guess at the beginning and reveal at the end, Sosa said. Turner is a student at Carnegie Hall who keeps his attention fully on the task at hand. It's great to have such a good collection of books.
