Oh man kills me to say this
I love her. I was counting down until I could order this book because of her social media help. There are a lot of diagrams in the beginning and it made me hopeful that the rest of the book would be just as helpful. I don't know how to explain the repetitiveness of the book, but the concepts are like 34 of the way complete. It just kind of doesn't click for me, like I'm reading and hoping it will all click. Some areas are incredible, eye opening, and helpful but other areas feel incomplete and I wish for more. I felt like something was wrong with me, but others felt the same way. The sections that I was most excited for were disappointing. I loved it in the beginning when I was taking notes and looking forward to the rest. It felt like a chore to read in the middle, and it wasn't helpful enough to take notes on.
Love it! Love the journal in back
I thought it was going to be a book. There are different learning styles addressed in the book. A diagram for a visual representation is called a tool, and it's a diagram for different scenarios or emotional connections. They have all of the tools at the back so that you can fill them out with your own feelings. Love this and recommend it.
   Glad this wasn't a gift
I just received this book and am very excited to read it. I am glad I didn't buy this book jacket as a gift because it is very dirty. I love Dr. Julie's book and can't wait to read it. I will give an update once I finish reading the book. The book jacket was in poor condition. I want to gift the one I want from the bookstore, so I will buy it.
   Worth the read!
I am writing a review of this book. I will be back with edits. The book is meant to be enjoyed and sipped on. I have to sit and read every section of it. I incorporate small changes with it. The information is provided in a way that allows for reflection. I will be back for more of a review once I finish.
   Great book!
Dr Julie was found a couple years ago on the social media platform. The physical book is a great hardcover copy, and I got it fast with pre order. I work in human services and find tips to help talk to my clients, and useful advice for my own mental health, this is an easy to read modern take. I will read this book as needed and not digest it at once.
   Just Not Good
I was excited to read this book because I love Dr. Julie. The book is not very helpful. The book is repetitive and never really gets anywhere. The introduction repeats and repeats how this book is a tool and will help you build this set of tools for life, and that's it. She goes on and on. The rest of the book is the same as before. She is awesome on IG and I wanted to love it, but it sucked for me.
   Very Informative
I love how she has taken what she says on the forum and put it in writing with a further explanation. Why haven't anyone told me this before? There are great life tips for everyone.
Thank you for writing this book!
The book has some of the best tools for mental health and I am glad I bought it. I am learning how to help my mental health.
Practical, professional insights that read as easy as a conversation with a friend!
The book is meant to be picked up and read from any section you need it to be read in. It is easy to understand and implement Dr. Julie Smith's advice into daily life. I like having a lot of information in a single book. There are practical exercises to work through. It's worth the money.
