A lot of us are faced with real life challenges and celebrities are real people with real life experiences. Will shares candidly how he went from surviving to thriving in various areas of his life. He shares his process of evolving into the person he is today as a husband, father, son, friend and a very successful famous icon. Will looks out for others and wants to help them succeed. Will Smith's heart and what drives him will be known by readers. It was very interesting, inspiring, and engaging. Will has a beautiful vocabulary and the book was so fascinating that I just slid past the f-bombs. I have the same sentiment as his grandmother. I will agree with you that the way you set up her and your grandmom for their first time is wrong.
   Fascinating book
Will is an intimate portrait of the actor and his family. Will is a pretty good writer and has interesting subject material. I was struck by Will's description of the differences between his Catholic school and his neighborhood. I think it's a good idea.
read this even if u say “Who is Will Smith?”
I've seen a few of his movies. I don't like his music. I have no idea anything about him. The book was interesting. It is incredible. It was honest. It was heartwarming. A person. It was well written. It's easy to read. It was very nice. These days, it's rare to read a great American story. There is a look at how he approaches life. People forget that success isn't always the answer. Will did not.
   Will Smith is my hero
This book is very funny and honest. It was great to see Will's world and all the crazy adventures he has been on. He was able to look back and reflect on his mistakes. There are some real philosophical gems in here that I will apply to my own life. Will, for sharing your journey with us. The world is a better place with you in it. I am sure of that.
   Missing Chapters
I was very happy to read this book. It was a good read until I got to the end of chapter 17 and realized that some pages were out of order and two whole chapters were missing. I'm coming back!
Wonderful. Honest. Sincere. A must read!
From the beginning I was hooked. The idea of focusing on just one brick is profound. A lesson I will never forget. I didn't know much about a man I assumed I knew. Don't judge a book by its cover, the content of this book is as beautiful and captivating as it is outside. The man's content is also spoken to. An artist, father, and human being. Thank you for the book. It has changed my life in many ways.
Wow, It's really good! One of the best autobiographies that I have read!
I didn't think it would be bad but I was surprised at how good it is. There are a lot of tidbits to enjoy if you like self-help books. It was recommended to all my friends.
   Great read!
I enjoy reading Will's book. I have been watching someone for decades. Life lessons and great stories can be applied to our daily lives. He described the bungee jump on his 50th birthday in a wonderful way. I am either going to die or I am not. If God wants me, I can do something about it. I don't know if I die. How do I want to live is the real question. We must ask ourselves a very important question. Great book! Will, your prank on Jada was not funny.
You have to read this book!
I like Will Smith. He came with some very personal emotions. His truths were mind incomprehensible. I thought I knew him, but after reading this book, I felt his pain and triumphs. I loved this book. An excellent read.
Shameless Bragging Taken to a New Level
I have always been a fan of Will Smith's work, and I assumed that he was the decent guy he usually portrays. His achievements in reaching the pinnacle of music, television, and film, a feat few have duplicated, are certainly impressive. The first part of the book was gripping, and the author came across as honest and humble. The rest of the book is described as a monumental bragathon. He is the most successful actor in the world and the greatest movie star of all time, and we are repeatedly told that. Even if there is some truth to these assertions, I found them distasteful and embarrassing. Words fail me when it comes to the drivel about his ayahuasca trips. If you're convinced that Will Smith is on the same level as Muhammad Ali and Nelson Mandela, you'll love this book. You may get indigestion if you don't. There was a Boo.
