   Charming kids book
Charming story, likable characters, pretty art. It was the first volume of Princeless, by John Green. Both of them just left me with a smile on my face and feeling like aw that was fun, she said. That really makes me happy, said Blair. Adventure stories a kid could have a good time reading without them either being too violent or scary for a kid and without being too cutesy or sanitizing any sense of excitement or peril out of the story, Levine said. It's great to read a book by an adult too if you're sufficiently in touch with your inner child. Where were some of these really good kid books when I was little?

   Enjoyable, Great Illustrations
My daughter, who turns 10 today, made me read it when she was done. In fact, I think that Nancy Reagan would have loved it, and I think the illustrations were phenomenal. The show deals with acceptance of others who might bedifferent. I was not expecting a cliffhanger, meaning there wasn't much of a resolution, but now we'll be watching for the next one to be released!

   So good!
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced digital copy. He was raised by bird spirits in a mystical great tree that is a haven for their souls. When bird souls are taken and not allowed to come to the great refuge, Zuli leaves her home to solve the mystery and retrieve the souls. After a journey with her owl guardian, Zuli goes on a journey of discovery, gathering unexpected friends and fighting enemies along the way. In "The Princess Diaries 2," Diana discovers her own unexpected gifts and begins to uncover her identity. This adventure swept me away to Zuli's world and I didn't want the story to end. The artwork is wonderful and the story is told in a way that is just right. The world building is very well done, complex and immersive, without being confusing, Mr. Dhaliwal said. It's fast paced and action-packed, but the characters really shine through. The book is the first of Kazuo Kibuishi's Amulet series.

   Great story
Thanks to Quill Tree Books and NetGalley for the advance electronic review of this book. This great middle-grade novel has a little bit of everything—gorgeously detailed artwork, magic, great world-building, adventure and, based on the ending — a possibility of volume 2, Knopf Doubleday said. The book emphasizes the story, family, and conservation, among other important ideas. I would recommend this book to anyone.

   Gorgeous and Emotive
From the very beginning, I got lost in the beautiful illustrations and the stakes of the story, he said. The illustrations are emotive, witty and often grotesque. I've always loved the panels where it was just focused on a character's face or eyes. The storytelling is rich and the relationships between Zuli and her friends are imaginative, too. Also, omg, the owl with all his little side comments, I laughed so much. I'm so excited to see what happens next in the series, and I can't wait to see more of the Wingbearers. All opinions are my own.

   Cute and exciting
The book was a huge hit, and the entire sixth-grade fantasy series was a smash. The colorful, kinetic art will be really appealing for the intended age group, and I kept thinking it wasn't that surprising that just about everyone she met was pretty easily won over by Zuli's charm.
