Good books. Darkstalker getting turned into a dragonet is stupid, Kinkajou is annoying, anemone is boring and Moon is stupid. Peril and Winter are the most important characters in the set.

Not the same characters as the first set

My son devoured the first five books in this series and begged me to read the next five. He became sad after learning that this set followed a completely different set of characters. The dragons that he loved in the first set of books were gone. He was looking forward to seeing Clay, Starflight, Glory, andSunny. He tried to read the first book in the set, but never really got into it. I think it's worth noting that this is not the case with a lot of kids reading this series. This set will be donated by us.

My son loves these books. He will read for a couple of hours a day after he starts. A few years ago, this kid would say that he hated reading. It took finding a couple of book series to get his imagination going.

My son was not a fan of reading. Doesn't like reading chapter books. I tried to make him like reading. But failed. Only this one! He loves to read until 1am. He said to read them as you watch a movie. Thank you for the book! Highly recommended to the boys.

My son is 12 years old and he loves this series. He had one or two of the later books, but had never read them, until I asked him about it, and he said he would like to read in order, and all at once, so I invested in both boxes sets. He is an avid reader, but he would ask to stay up late to read, couldn't put them down at times, and really looks forward to March when the new one comes out. I would recommend for both boys and girls. When I asked my son if they are better if you read in order, he said they are because I like to read series in order. If you are on the fence, get the box set 1 and go from there.

Our family likes to read to my kids before bed. The Wings of Fire books are my kids favorite books to read. They are excited to get the other 4 books in the collection for Christmas, because we are finishing book 10. We read through all the books in 4 months. My kids are young. My 9 year old is able to read on her own.

My child loves the series. He went from the Treehouse Series to the I survived Books to the American Chillers and now is on to the Wings of Fire. I bought these for him because we couldn't find them at the library. He read 15 minutes before bed and then took the bad boys down in two days. I highly recommend it. The graphic novels of the same series are preferred by my daughter.
