Wish For A Fish: All About Sea Creatures
My son is fond of all kinds of animals and fish are no different. He read this book at school and had to have it at home. Although some of the Vocab is a bit challenging for a first grader, he is so in the book that he pushes through all the hard words so that he can finish reading. Educationally fun and educational.

Great book for older child -cute rhymes & accurate info
This one is usually aimed at toddlers and preschoolers, but contains the same detailed art work, but contains extremely accurate, but too much detail for children to understand, but my 2 yr old twins still loved it anyway, so give Staraa.

   Hooked
Keep in mind that my son is four so he needs these and the way they organize the basic ideas within these themes so that he can properly frame his thoughts. We are not so concerned about every detail being exact, but on him getting a few bits of info while gaining a handle on the basic way things are set in the various scientific topics that this book series covers. This may seem like a review of the whole series and not just this book, but I really think they are consistent. If you are a more sensitive parent for certain topics, feel free to ignore the book of sharks, but we like them all, including that one. They are all consistently great with great illustrations and generous details.

   Educational and Fun: Rhyming Facts
I love that this book is real work, educational facts while still rhyming like you want a book by Dr Seuss. I also think that putting facts into rhymes helps children and adults remember them.

Great book for children who love fish and the ocean!
I had to go through two replacements before I actually got the book. I still give it five stars because it is a great book. I bought it for my granddaughter, who is only a few weeks old to get her Dr Seuss collection going.

   Fabulous Book!
My grandson thinks that this book is the best! This series of the Cat In the Hat learning series is exceptional. Our grandson is 5 and we have now purchased all the books about sea creatures and animals from this series. I can not recommend this series enough!

The best book we've found for ocean learning
I used it in our homeschool lessons for my 3-year-old and 5-year-old. We had at least a dozen books about the oceans, and this was the best at describing the oceanic zones. I enjoyed the presentation and my 5-year-old has the zones memorized thanks to this book. It is engaging, fact-based and cute.
