Beautiful picture story

Supper is a cute story from scratch! Pictures are delightful and I love that it is a picture book that can be explained in its own words by children.

NO WORDS, picture book only!
Derived From Web , Jan 9, 2020
I've been more thorough in my research, but I went on the stars and the glowing reviews. My child likes to be read. Yes, you can come up with a story I suppose to go with each page, but that is not what I was hoping for when buying a new book. A total bust and a waste of money for us. Immediately Went into the Donation Bag.

Buyer Beware and be aware
Derived From Web , Nov 27, 2019
It is my own fault that I did not heed the warnings of others that many books ordered from Amazon show up dirty, ripped, wrinkled and otherwise. This is a Christmas present for a child and arrived damaged. The books'content is ADORABLE!!! So, I recommend the book with 5 STARS, but if you want to buy it, buy it from another source besides Amazon.

No words-but still enjoyable.
Derived From Web , Jan 11, 2019
This book got me this Christmas for my two years. At first, I was not happy with it because I didn 't realize that it didn 't have any words. I gave it to him and am glad that I did. He really enjoys it and we can change the story each time a little.

Gorgeous pictures build empathy
Derived From Web , Jan 10, 2019
I gave this to my daughter on her fourth birthday as she likes to read books to her now. The limited number of words makes this possible and I fell in love with the artistry and simplicity of the images. The first time we read the book, she buried her head in me and wept when the child did in the story, it's just so sad, Mama! But, that didn't stop her from immediately reading it again with her big sister or wanting to act the story moments later, pretending to be a baby wolf herself. It has become a favorite in our rotation of the stories of the children.

Gorgeous book that's great for reader of all ages.
Derived From Web , Jan 6, 2019
This book won the Caldecott and you don 't need my review to convince you of its quality. What I can tell you is that I was completely intimidated by reading my three-year-old book, a wordless book. And I was not even sure if he would like it, but he took it immediately. We bought it from the library and after we returned it, he asked repeatedly for it, so I got it and I'm glad I did. I feel like there is even more we can do with it as he grows up as a readerwriter. P.S. : We read Wish to our son on his birthday and cry on Mother's Day and Father's Day. Single : Time : It was the first book we ever read. I packed it in my hospital bag and everything.

Such good illustrations and fun to tell your own version!
Derived From Web , Nov 27, 2018
The pictures are so wonderful that the story can only tell itself. I can ask my 3 year old what is happening and she can make her own version, which is awesome! It supports her imagination and tells her story. She sits and thumbs through the pages, howling and barking ).

Lovely!

This beautiful book is a joy to read. The lack of words helps it to be a slightly different experience as my son and I discuss what is going on in the illustrations.
