Huge Hit!
Derived From Web , Aug 29, 2020
Wordy Birdy was a big hit with my 5 yr. old grandson, Frankie. He laughed non-stop from the first reading to probably the 20th. And we only had the book for about 3 days. He can hardly get enough! Every minute he loves. For such an amazing selection, thank you Amazon Book Box.

Not for 3 year old son!

Book Ridiculous and not as clever as we expected. Picture of ferocious lion at the end was also too much for my son and gave him nightmares. Sorry, can not recommend.

We love Wordy Birdy!
Derived From Web , Jan 23, 2020
He has autism, and sometimes, I am not sure if he picks the story line or not. But the day after reading this, he was not listening and I gave him the mom look and he said to me, I'm like Wordy Birdy. This story is about a great bird named Wordy who loves to talk but is not so beautiful in listening. It is pretty and the illustrations are very cute.

A funny story about the value of learning to listen.
Derived From Web , Aug 4, 2018
In this silly story, Wordy Birdy is so busy talking that she doesn't listen to the warnings that her friends try to give. Not until she is in serious trouble does she bothers to listen. Stories like this can point out gently that listening is a valuable and important skill. The story is both funny and thoughtful, making it its point through the events of the story, rather than preaching. The bright, colorful illustrations are attractive and eye-catching and add to the effectiveness of the book.

Best children’s book for the “keeper shelf “
Derived From Web , Apr 14, 2018
This is now my favorite book for children. I bought 5 of them because I love them so much. I bought this for a friend's little boy, who is very quiet. When his new brother arrived, I gave it to him. I can 't pick which animal I love the best in the story. If possible, this would be a book 7 *******.

Wonder lesson learned - listen more!
Derived From Web , Mar 1, 2018
Yes, it is normal for a 4 year old to be chatty, but there is a time to stop talking and listen. We say wordy birdy '' and she knows immediately what it means and takes a break.
