Great Math book for PreK/K
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
I purchased this book for my three year old son, who is home schooled. We have only completed a few pages but I am very pleased with the content. He won't be able to add or match digits to the word form, but with guidance, he will do it. I think this curriculum is great.

Simple fun learning.

My grandson is in kindergarten. Trying to find things that are fun while teaching. The way it builds to higher level than basics is what I like about Kindergarten.

More like PreK readiness
Derived From Web , Jul 7, 2021
It's a good book. I think this is best suited for 4-5 year olds, prek-K. Trying to keep my soon to be 1st graders ready for school, and everything in this book are skills already mastered in Kindergarten, but there's only 2 pages for each and it doesn't teach the skills, but just reviews. My kids learned a lot of patterns and shapes in preschool. Only 1-9 numbers can be added or subtracted.

Great for pre-k
Derived From Web , Aug 1, 2020
This product is suited for pre-k. I bought this for my rising 1st graders, and it is way below her level. She was good at this in pre-k and kindergarten. The book should be labeled pre-k- K. My pre-k child will use it. This book would be useless to me if I did not have a rising pre-k child. It's easy to use and understand the illustrations.

Daughter LOVES it!
Derived From Web , Jun 15, 2020
I bought this for my 4 year old who will be starting Kindergarten in August and she absolutely loves it! Some portions are easy for her to digest. I think it's a good combination of review and new learning for someone in the 4-5 year old range. It would be easy for a child to finish kindergarten or 1st grade with this item.

Fun but not K-1 level...
Derived From Web , May 4, 2020
It was easy for my 3 year old to complete all of it after I bought this for her. She is bright, but I don't think she is K-1 level. I would be disappointed if I purchased it for my 1st graders because my daughter enjoyed it, but I gave it 5 stars because I thought it was good.

My child was helped to prepare for the next grade by using this over the summer. He was able to learn quickly because we could teach. He liked bright colors and pictures.

I find this to be too easy for kindergarten/1st
Derived From Web , Nov 10, 2017
I think this is too easy for kindergarten. I use this for some pre-k kids who just turned 5. The only page that is not appropriate is telling time.

Too easy
Derived From Web , Apr 17, 2017
My child is in a public school. We were surprised that most of the material in this book was in her preschool or early on in kindergarten, although the book is labeled for the K-1 transition. She did the entire book in one afternoon, and only needed help with the two pages on counting nickels and pennies and reading a clock. She liked it, the instructions were easy to follow, and the activities were engaging.

Not for 6 year old getting ready for 1st grade, not enough add, subtract and money work.
Derived From Web , Feb 11, 2017
Half of it is more preschool level and will be wasted because it is too easy. It was for a six year old to get ready for school. I wanted more math, addition and subtraction. A lot of the book was filled with numbers and shapes. Only 4 pages addition and only one page for money were done. It wasn't what I was hoping for but I didn't bother to send it back. Maybe his sister can use it.
