   Excellent overview of WW II
My 7-year-old grandson became interested in World War II after seeing the movie about the American athlete Jesse Owens. Great organization, photos, and explanations of various personalities and events, Diana said. He's now become interested in possibly being a history teacher.

My grandson loved it, very well illustrated
The book is nice but packaging was cheaply done, I wasn't home and ups laid it on th porch and its only packaging was a box and it drew moisture and would have ruined if I had not got it when i did, Habakk said.

   Step son loves it
It was a present from my 8-year-old step-son who is fascinated with World War II. He isn't big on books, but he reads and looks at them. It's very easy to engage and it's great for kids.

Bought Brand New, Gift Delivered was not New
Disappointed to hear from my WW2 crazed nephew and his parents that the NEW book I bought from Amazon. com as a present was not in fact new. The cover was reportedly bruised in multiple places and pages were bent from use. The whole thing is a travesty, fumed Aunt Martha.

   Good book, but missing details
My son has a huge collection of books, and this book is his favourite because of all the planes. He also found that the book had some missing details, but he was okay with that because there was still the main details of the war.

Perfect for a young history buff
My 10 year old grandson absolutely loves the book. After the photos were taken, he spent an hour or two pouring over them. Even though he's had a few heart attacks, he's still enjoying it months after the holidays. Really well written, well-organized and chock full of awesome photos.

   Very well done; excellent presentation
This book is extremely well done, said Dr. Chester Floyd, director of the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The book is filled with photos and drawings of the Beatles. The book is organized into well-organized sections that cover main events, leaders, battles and equipment. It will be a hit with my grandson, Michael Mosley, said.

   My son loves this book!
My 7 year old son wanted to learn more about WW II after reading "Ranger in Time - D-Day Battle on the Beach." He's a huge fan of the book and re-read it multiple times. He has read it out loud to me to tell me all the facts he has been learning and I have also grown a lot as well. Definitely would recommend it to anyone who has an interest in history.
