Great for kids of all ages and species

My sister is a hoot and said that every baby L s needs a book about turtles, and boy was she right. As it turns out, we loved reading the book as much as Ping loved hearing it.

My favorite baby book!

This book is by far one of the best children's books I have ever read. It has the sweetest message about a parent always being there for their child to protect them, provide for them and love them. It made me tear up, especially because I give it to my sister who has been trying to have a baby for over two years and is finally expecting. Too bad I was buying a second one for my baby!

Disclaimer : I received this book from Sourcebook Early Reads in exchange for an honest review. This changes my opinion or review in no way. You Are My Happy follows a baby and a turtle that explores the world around them, in all the wonders that littles have. I read this as an ebook, which made it a little confusing because the description didn 't really note that it would be a cut-out book, so that on some pages it seemed like something was missing in the e-book version. All said, this was a very cute book. The little turle is so excited to see that the world and the momma turtle is there to support his exploration and tell them that they are loved. The story is a good one to read together and show your love aloud. This would make a night-time gift book or a wonderful tradition.

I'm currently knee deep in picture books with a voracious reader of a Kindergarten, so I couldn 't pass up You Are My Happy by Patricia Hagerty. It has such fair illustrations and a beautiful theme of love between parent and child. My copy was an ebook so that I was not able to see the cutouts which I am sure are adorable. But it was nonetheless a great story. Thank you for the Early Reader program at Sourcebooks for giving me a free copy of this book in exchange for a review.
