   Simple and adorable book for Dada
This is a very simple book. The dads of animals are trying to get their baby to say "Dada" but the kids just say "moo, ribbit" For Father's Day, I got a set of sharpies and changed all the Ds to Bs in the book, because my daughter speaks Turkish and calls her dad Baba. It's a simple and fun book for all dads and she just started repeating the sounds of the animals.

   Weird illustrations and odd storyline.
I don't understand the hype behind this book. It is a board book. I find the illustrations to be offputting. The animals all look like they are hunched over. I don't like the storyline either. Why would you be upset that your baby can't say dada? On the last page of the book we can hear dada or mama for the first time. I don't remember being sad or angry about my child not saying it yet.

The book is cute. It is very simple and not very complicated. Unfortunately, mine had a few scratches and knicks.

   Perfect Gift for New Dad or Baby
We are expecting a baby in the fall and I got my hubs this book. He immediately read it out loud and he loved it. He said that it was fun, sweet and a perfect gift and he was going to read it to our girl. Would recommend.

This is a good book. My husband likes to read it with our daughter. She will say "Dada" as he turns the page. We like the Mama one. You will not regret it if you get it for your kids.
