Helen Wang is a literary translator who works from Mandarin to English and is the Curator of East Asian Money at the British Museum. Bronze and Sun Flower by Cao Wenxuan, Jackal and Wolf by Shen Shixi, Pai Hua Zi and the Clever Girl by Zhang Xinxin, and Tan Hou and the Double Sixth Festival by Cai Gao are among her children's book translations. She has also translated a number of Chinese authors' short works. She won the Marsh Prize for Children's Literature in Translation in 2017. Helen Wang was honored at the 2017 Chen Bochui International Children's Literary Awards with the Special Contribution Award for her contributions to children's literature translation around the world.
