Superfudge
Book Overview
This Description may be from another edition of this product.
He knows a lot of big words, but he doesn't know where babies come from. He's never heard of a stork, but he plans to be a bird when he grows up. He's Superfudge, otherwise known as Farley Drexel Hatcher. And, according to his older brother Peter, the biggest pain ever invented. Among other things.
As fans of Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing already know, nothing is simple for Peter Hatcher. He is far from overjoyed at the turn the family fortunes are taking. It looks as if Peter will be spending the sixth grade far from Central Park, Sheila Tubman, Jimmy Fargo, and Henry the doorman. (He won't miss Sheila). And it also looks as if Fudge will no longer be the baby of the family. How will Peter ever survive if his new sibling is a carbon copy of Fudge?
But as Fudge fans also know, bad news for Peter generally means good news for Judy Blume's readers--in the form of a very funny story.

Help for the Santa Pages
Derived From Web , Apr 21, 2022
My son, who has Down Syndrome, has read all the Harry Potter books. Thanks to all the people who warned me about the Santa Clause part of the book. If your child is too young to read chapter books, you may not want them knowing about Santa yet. The Santa pages are in Chapter 9. Just have to read ahead a little bit and skip that part. Also at the end of the book, you can skip the part where he says he knows about Santa Claus. Thanks for the help.

Grandchild has had a lot of fun with the Fudge series, and he's working his way through this one. This was a specific request by the recipient.

Christmas giving tree gift

This was a Christmas giving tree, right? My wife and I both liked the premise, so we got it to give away, Mr. Rule told the judge.

I was so happy to find this book for my daughter. I read this book when I was young and loved it! The packaging was great, the foam was great, and the customer service was great. I would recommend this book to anyone. It's great to be back home, said Blair.

Don’t buy it

I didn't read any reviews before giving this to my grandson. It talks about how Santa Claus is not real. He is no longer a believer thanks to this book.

Book gives away a big secret parents don't want kids to know!
Derived From Web , Jul 12, 2020
My 9 year old son loved it. Seconds later, he reads it again, "pretty quickly." It was pretty funny, too, because I started to read it. As we were talking about it, he asked me to explain one page of it. The author of the book says there is no Santa Claus and that it is the parents that bring gifts. It was a total lie, and I couldn't believe it. I wish I had read this review in person.

Still fun but awkwardly “updatedâ€
Derived From Web , May 5, 2020
I have two kids who are absolutely loving these books. However, the new versions do seem to have some differences from the old. The original "Tales" book was published in 1972, and its follow-up "Superfudge" came out in 1980. Yesterday, we got to the part where Fudge and Peter compose their "Dear Santa" letters, which includes cassettes and an "Mp3 player." I wonder what else has been changed from the original?

Love!
Derived From Web , May 1, 2020
My boys, ages 9 and 6, love the books. It engages my 6 year old when I read it and he is hard to please when it comes to books or sitting still! It's great to see the kids really enjoy it. Went back and bought the remaining three books.

A Stay in Princeton
Derived From Web , Apr 2, 2020
In fact, I did not like how Tootsie came so early in the book. I liked how the story took place in another town, not just in New York City. What a baby sister! she screamed at photographers. I've had crushes on Alex and Daniel, too. The book is very funny and I recommend it to anyone.
