I could have written this book!
I've read several diet books, most of them were educational to some extent, but none spoke to me on the level that this book does. Many of the anecdotes are taken directly from the pages of the book. Her encouraging dialog has let me realize that I am not alone and more importantly has helped me to start to transform how I eat and more importantly view food. For anyone who is an emotional eater, who sneaks food, who binges or engages in other similar activities, this easy-to-read book is worth a look. It could help you better understand your motivations and enable the changes you want, but feel you can't make them.

   Who Knew?
I love Geneen Roth's writings and this book was a real eye opener for me regarding the whys of emotional eating. As a follower of her readings, I found this book and several other of her books to be very helpful on my journey to understand why I over-eat and how to get it under control. It not only helped with eating disorders, it helped me with other aspects of my life, too. Very friendly reader.

If you struggle with your weight and eating, read this book.
In her book, "The Whole Nine Yards," Roth explains the reasons women have trouble with their eating more than anyone and she articulates them in her own words. If you are serious about understanding your weight and eating properly, this book is a must. I made great strides with this book, too, because it was the first time I encountered resistance.

Too much ego, not enough help
The price is certainly not worth the risk. I would not recommend it to anyone. She doesn't talk about herself or her friends' experiences.

   Use your time elsewhere
This book was only slightly better than average. I got bored with it partway through, but then read the whole thing. At the end, I was thinking, well that was kind of a waste of my time, Mr. Rule told the judge.

A must read if you're struggling with emotional eating .
I'm an Integrative Health Coach and I've found this book to be a great reference tool to use as I coach clients through emotional eating. It's great to read about anyone who is struggling with emotional eating, Raymond said. The author talks about things that we all can relate to at some point in our lives. A great book, said Pauley.    Could not put this book down
The book has stopped my binging. It has taught me how humans should approach meals, and how to get to a calm state, he said. We're still waiting for the judge to give us that go-ahead.
